In order to recover the lost splendor of Phnom Penh, the government brings its support to the mammoth South-Korean “city” project located north of Phnom Penh. Vice-prime minister Sok An made this declaration yesterday during the groundbreaking inauguration of the Camko City construction site.

The groundbreaking for the construction site of the ultra-modern South-Korean city project, christened Camko City, located north of Phnom Penh, took place yesterday. $2 billion will be invested to build, from now until 2018, villas, skyscrapers, hospital, one university and several shopping centers. Sok An declared: “In the 60s, Phnom Penh was beautiful like a jade. But, after the war, it is impossible to compare Phnom Penh with other cities in the region. That is why, today, the government encourages the Camko City project which will embellish the city anew.” “I would like to live here, but I don’t know if I would have enough money,” Kep Ravy, a hardware store manager commented during the inauguration. An optimistic official from the Ministry of Economy believes that Camko City will be accessible to one third of the population of the capital, because most of them own lands in the provinces which they can sell to buy an apartment here.

Sell land to buy apartment? ahahah!
Oh my God! Sell land to apartment!
Here is my suggestion to all you for trying to live in apartment! Please don't live in apartment! Period! Apartments are for poor people with low income and it is more like a prison to be exact! There is no privacy when you live in apartment! What about the parking space for your cars! How many bedrooms is it?

I have lived in all kinds of places in my life and I found out that I enjoy living in a Townhouse because the bedrooms, den, living room, kitchen, the backyard are way bigger! Of course the privacy too! If I have enough money I will turn my Townhouse into a castle! Ahahhah! It is all depend on the zoning law too!

If you have land please build yourself a nice Townhouse, mansion, or a simple house with plenty of spaces! Don't sell your land for stupid tiny apartment!

Now it is time for you to go kiss the Vietcong ass for some jobs but you know what! The Vietcong won't give you any job either and what are you going to do? If million and million of Cambodian can survive without a job and why can you! ahahhahhaha

to be honest,it'll probably be a good investment for tourist and guests nationwide to enjoy the shopping, schools,& etc.But does any of the profit helps for the people in needs out in Cambodia? the unfortunate who will probably work hard professionally in theses buisness and get a low pay?? think about the people there...i wonder if the Koreans out there keeping more of the revenues than the city itself...think about that
