Mok Chito, penal police chief of the Ministry of Interior, rejected the claim made by Heng Pov who accused him of involvement in money extortion on rich businessmen. Mok Chito told The Cambodia Daily over the phone on Wednesday that Heng Pov is a loose canon and a criminal, and that his claim revealed to the court should not be heeded, Mok Chito said: “Let him say whatever he wants. He attacks the government, he attacks everybody.” Mok Chito added: “Let the public judge about what the truth is.” Mok Chito added that Heng Pov deserves the 39-year of jail sentence, and that for whatever he did he deserves (the sentences). In the courtroom, Judge Chey Sovann rejected Heng Pov’s accusation that Mok Chito put the fake money in his house. Chey Sovann said that Heng Pov’s accusation is only a pretext to get himself out of trouble.

What Heng Pao alleged was true. He knows the trict of CPP officials do.
The court has to find out what Heng Pao has said, otherwise it was useless to bring him to trial.

It has been well-known that the CPP security officials planted drugs on people they want to frame. Planting fake money on people they want to frame is new, but not surprising.
These high-ranking CPP security officials are career criminals, and kidnapping for ransom is just one of their businesses. Another one of their businesses is land grabbing.
We really need justice for Heng Pov. He was a scapegoat for other people seeking for self-interest.
As I have said before, we must separate rule of laws and politic. Therefore, regardless Heng Pov was former CPP or not, doesn't matter. THe problem, has he got his justice or not. Is it for him or not to be jailed withour any defense? He is also another citizen. He was not like Choangrai Derachharn Khiev samphann and his clan Ieng Sary and Nuon Chea at all.
yes heng pov needs support for justice or else cambodia will never see the day light of DEMOCRACY. IF any justice is to start , it should start with heng pov and many others.
