Two NRP signs installed along National Road No. 3, in Tauch village, Kraing Khnay commune, Chhouk district, Kampot province, were destroyed by unknown people last Saturday night. NRP officials consider the destruction of these signs as an intimidation and as a political discrimination. Hing Koeun, NRP party president for the Chhouk district, told RFA that this is the first time that his party signs were destroyed. He considered this destruction as a political discrimination. Hing Koeun said that he complained to the local authority already to find out the people who destroyed his party signs. Muth Chantha, NRP spokesman, considered this activity as a political action to discourage and threaten his party members.
