I think during pol Pot regime, the man the most important for all his actvities was his personal advisor which was Kiet Chhon and Hor Nam Hong. Usually, advisor was more important than himself who has adviced him for all his decision.
Example. Nixon'advisor was Kissinger. Nixon has decided to make a close relationship with China and to withdraw troops out from Vietnam through his advice from Henry Kissinger. Mao Ste Tung has decided to start his cultural revolution from 1966-1976 from his new advisor. He has ignored all his old camarades for this cultural revolution to be purged by Lim Piao and Qang Qing. He has left President Lio Zhao Jie, mdame Song Qing Ling, Phe Cheng to be purged by these gangs. We all knew that Pol Pot was not a smart man. He has failed his studies in France and in Cambodia. Therefore he relied all his political venture to his advisors like Kiet Chhon and Hor Nam Hong. Usually advisors can always escape from people target but in reality, advisors can play very important role in each regime. Therefore in this trial, Kieth Chhon and Hor Nam Hong shouldn't be exmpted from investigation. Areak Prey
