Two Cambodian fishermen kidnapped by Vietnamese fishermen on 04 September, were released back and returned home on 07 September.
Vy Riya, one of the kidnapped fishermen, said that after their kidnappings, the Vietnamese fishermen beat them up and causing them serious injuries. “They used a piece of wood the size of a human hand to beat us, when the wood broke, they used metal bars to beat us again, they beat me on the ribs, I almost died,” Vy Riya said.
He said that after the beating, the Vietnamese fishermen handed them to the Vietnamese cops for a report. “After the beating, they handed us to the police, the cops took us on their boat and they questioned us, made their report, and took us to Vietnam, on that island (Koh Tral island?),” Vy Riya added.
After questioning, and the report, the Vietnamese authority released the Cambodian fishermen back without any intervention help by the Cambodian authority.
39-year-old Vy Riya lives in Ta Ang village, Treuy Koh commune, Kompong Bay district, Kampot province. He was kidnapped by Vietnamese fishermen and taken into Vietnam after Vy Riya and a group of Cambodian fishermen prevented these Vietnamese fishermen from using electricity to shock the fishes to catch them. However, the Vietnamese trawlers surrounded the Cambodian fishermen boats, rammed them and kidnapped him and his boat, and took him to Vietnam.
Mrs. Nget So Seng, president of the Licadho human rights group in Kampot province, indicated that the Vietnamese fishermen are violating Cambodian fishermen, and that such incidents occur on many occasions. “These incidents are occurring very often, I believe that this is not right. Both countries have their own law, but in reality the disputes arise from the fishing interest, and it involved the use of illegal fishing methods. Therefore, the authority should participate actively to protect these natural resources, in order to prevent disputes which are occurring very often between the fishermen (from both countries).”
Nget So Seng requested that the Cambodian authority should help look after the safety of Cambodian fishermen who are only conducting small survival fishing, and the authority should also look after Cambodia’s territorial seas, and prevent the use of illegal fishing methods.
Thlang Phearin, the Kampot province police commissioner, indicated that the problem of kidnapping of the Cambodian fishermen was only a dispute between Cambodian and Vietnamese fishermen only, it has nothing to do with the authority.
Thlang Phearin said: “It’s normal these fishing problems, they always hurt each other, they are both bad. And the kidnapping of our 2 fishermen, the Vietnamese authority does not recognize it, they don’t do anything to them either, they filed their story and returned them back, there was no fines given to them.”
Thlang Phearin said that the Kampot police already has a plan in place to prevent such incident to happen again.

Two Cambodian fishermen was kidnapped by Vietnamese fishermen in Cambodian territory and sent them to Vietnan. They was beaten by Vietnamse fishermamen. The cambodian authorithy said that this cause was the personal conflict. Is this argument is implausible.
Prevent Vietnamese fishermen into Cambodian waters. Have the authority arrest fishermen entering Cambodia illegally. The navy should protect our rivers and our territorial sovereignty. They should also protect our people
I suggest dress AH Thlang Phearin as Cambodian fisherman and put him in a boat and sail to the same place of dispute and let see if the Vietcong treating him as human or as animal!
If these Cambodian fishermen claimed that the Vietcong beat them with stick and metal bar and there should be bodily injury such as marks and laceration on their body!
It doesn't matter whether it is a dispute among fishermen because authorities from both countries should intervene to resolve the dispute! And it seems that only the Vietcong authorities intervene to protect and save their fishermen from harm way while stupid fuck Cambodian authorities under AH HUN SEN leadership is too busy fucking the Vietcong hookers!

To revenge the Vietnamese fisherman, Khmer people in Tonle Sap need to burn down their boat houses in Tonle Sap. They come here to live illigally and do whatever they want. Then go to the sea again with the gun and grenades to kill all three hanoi trawlers. Kill the Kompot police commissioner, this guy is hanoi agent. Ah Hun Sen never protect khmer people and Khmer krom. he only protects Hanoi only. Whoever think Hun Sen is doing a good job in Cambodia, that person must be Hanoi agents also.
