Oknha Sok Kong, owner of the Sokimex company, is getting a taste of pain because Prime minister Hun Sen forced him to divide his land, and give half to Suy Saphan, the owner of the Phanimex company. Both have a lot of unsavory affairs, both are very close to Hun Sen, and both are practicing bad businesses.

Sok Kong in an importer of oil to Cambodia, he pays very little tax to the state coffer, and he became the owner of state lands in several special development zones, such as the tourist areas in Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and the lands formerly occupied by the T-3 jail located next to Wat Unalom pagoda.

Sok Kong is suspected of colluding with Kep Chuktema, the governor of Phnom Penh city, to grab people’s lands located in front of the royal palace, across from the Mekong River, they use the excuse that the area was selected for development. This individual depends on the backing from Hun Sen to perpetrate all his bad deeds. However, now Sok Kong is getting a taste of pain also because Hun Sen ordered him to give away half of his lands to Yeay (Grandma, term used to designate a powerful woman) Phan to end their disputes.

Yeay Phan and Sok Kong had an intense dispute at the beginning of last week stemming from their land grabbing in Boeung Snor Lake, in Phnom Penh city.

Yeay Phan, who is very close to old man Hun Neang, Hun Sen’s father, and also to Hun Sen’s children, never lost a fight to anybody because when she touches people’s lands, she would hire police force to attack these people, but when she touches state lands, she depends of edicts issued by the council of ministers, and when she touches powerful people of her own kind, she gets tired from talking and spilling out her saliva on others only.

In Cambodia nowadays, the number of oknhas is very high, and some of these oknhas have the reputation of taking advantage of people, other oknhas are known for grabbing lands belonging to poor people, yet other oknhas are known for importing goods to Cambodia without paying, or paying very little customs fees because they have powerful officials to back them up. Other oknhas are known in the trade of marijuana by the tons, and they wouldn’t even face any problem because they are very close to people in power.

A young and famous okhna in Cambodia, such as Kith Meng, is an owner of the Mobitel phone company (area code 012), and he is openly taking advantage of people, in particular on customers of the 012 area code phone number. This okhna, not only does he take advantage of people, he also squeezes his customers tight as well.

Another young oknha, by the name of Ung Bun Hov, is also taking advantage of the population also, by setting up stations to extort money from people traveling by car along National Road No. 4. His action imparts hardship on the population, and he angered them enormously. Ung Bun Hov is also a member of the CPP congress, whereas oknha Kith Meng is a member of the chamber of commerce of Cambodia.

Some oknhas are involved in drug (marijuana) trafficking also. One of the latter type of oknhas is a CPP senator, and his name was quoted in Heng Pov’s statement, there, Heng Pov said that he seized tens of tons of dried marijuana (in 1997) in Kompong Som port (Sihanoukville) destined for export to Canada. In Cambodia, there are also oknhas who were former Vietnamese experts, such as Sok Kong the owner of Sokimex for example. Oknha Sok Kong has a good grip on the Cambodian economy, and he received the rights to sell entry tickets for tourists to visit Angkor Wat temple, he is able to collect several hundreds million of dollars each year, but the money the state collects is very little in comparison.

Sok Kong always wins on make-believe price biddings, such as for providing the army with medicines and uniforms. Sok Kong and Kep Chuktema are known to be colluding with each other to grab lands belonging to rightful owners and make these lands their personal properties under the pretense of city development.

The oknhas in Cambodia, whether they are old or young, men or women, use the backing of high-raking government officials to grab the people’s lands without mercy, these actions were taken by Yeay Phu, Yeay Phan, for example, as well as by Chumteav You Ay, the secretary of state of the ministry of women affairs who always denied that she never grab lands belonging to the people, she even went on to claim that she gives out lands to the people. However, villagers in Phnom Sruoch district, Kompong Speu province, said that this chumteav grabs people’s lands, and wherever she is taking this action, violence is sure to follow.

Other oknhas are sons and nephews of high-ranking government officials, they have a history of violence, shooting and killing of innocent people. Because their parents and relatives are powerful, some oknhas are conducting illegal logging, and some of them are even abetting wanted criminals, and helping them to board a plane out of the country in exchange for tens of thousands of dollars.

In the Cambodian kingdom nowadays, there are so many kinds of oknhas who are young and old, men and women, and some have a very scary violent past also. A society filled with these types of oknhas, dictatorial and corrupt leaders who cause severe destruction to the nation, our next generation children will not have a bright future, in particular with the current increasing number of youths in Cambodia. Therefore, the only way is to replace these leaders at the upcoming election, in order to bring reform to Cambodia, and to eliminate today’s swindlers of the nation.

Nevertheless, some of the oknhas who are full of unsavory affairs, are now getting a taste of pain as well, in particular, oknha Sok Kong who was ordered by Hun Sen to give up half of his lands to Yeay Phan of the Panimex company.

It's surprising that 2 rich Viets fought each other over a piece of Khmer land. No need to go to the court in this case, as Hun Sen is both the judge and the jury. Whatever the outcome of this judgment, Cambodians still lose. Well, at least we are good-looking losers to two ugly Viets!

If you looks at Cambodia's flag, you will easily see Angkor Wat symbol on it. To me, Angkor Wat is Khmer heritage and belong to all Khmer. Therefore, every penny collected by Angkor Wat, whether throught tourism or whatever mean by using Angkor Wat name and symbol must be reserved and gives back to Khmer people. I don't know how Sok Kong been managed money collected through using Angkor Wat symbol (Tourism and other activities), but for those that have credible information please share it to the world. We need to expose these SOBs. Don't get me wrong, if these Orhkna earned their money with their own money on investment, and without cheated or take advantage of the poor...I am OK, however, for example, Sok Kong, Angkor Wat, we need to find out where funds collected being deposit. Some of these funds should put toward the poor farmers due to flooded or scholarship, or improving the life of Khmer. Don't let Sok Kong pocket it. Remember Angkor Wat belong to all Khmer.

All Oknyas:

One powerful tiger won't last long in this world. One day he will fall down in grace. When that time comes, watch out all Oknyas. Your time come down in grace too. Next government will punish and jail whoever hurt Cambodia and its people. The ones run drugs, grabbing land, evading taxes, etc... will see all of you in courts. All the lands and properties in Cambodia need to be owned by government and give back the original properties back to the previous owners prior 1975. These properties are belonging to the right owners who worked hard for their belonging and now took over by unknown people. This is the right way to do for democracy country. Whoever now live in the house that belongs to the prior 1975 ownership need to get out and give back to their owner.

These two yuons are dividing Khmers'
land. Our innocent Khmers are being intimidating, forcing to give up their own land every day. What's next?

Please ask anyone you know to vote for the SRP for the next election. It is the only way to change this regime.

Why don't they go to court to determine the rightful owner of the land. This behavior by Hun Sen is wrong. Directly or indirectly he allowing the bad guy get some of the land which is not his/hers and at the same time he could pocket some money as well. We must be clear about everything and the law. It's the way root out the bad guys.

I am ashame of these LOW CLASS EX-COMMUNIST people ruling our land. People who use to be poor, former Khmer Rouge Cadres and who are now rich because of being corrupted and using brute force for financial gains sickens me.

What has Cambodian society become of? The Rich and Elite people before the Pol Pot regime had way more class then this. No one son or daughter of an official, general, or high rank killed each other out on the streets. It's because they have "cheap" blood in them. Despite they came from humble beginnings, they earn their status and respect, not like these people in the Cambodian government right now. Not only that they didn't acquire land by State intervention ... speaking from my own family's wealth back then, WE BOUGHT OUR LAND, rich people back then didn't do land grabbing back then.

They get what's coming to them, KARMA will always come back to bite them back in the end.

I would love to spit in these people's faces.
