3 Vietnamese men suspected of killing a Cambodian boy, and severely injuring a Cambodian man, were arrested by the Vietnamese authority recently.
A report from the Vietnamese border troop delegation and the local Vietnamese commune and district authorities indicated that Vietnamese suspects could face death sentence if they are found guilty.
Heng Vichhun, a 14-year-old Cambodian teenager who escaped the murder attempt from the 3 Vietnamese, told RFA about the incident which occurred on 07 October 2007.
Heng Vicchun recounted with fear on how the 3 Vietnamese men chased after him and a group of Cambodian men with a stick and an ax. The Cambodian men went to catch fish in An Giang province, Vietnam.
During the incident, 14-year-old Roth Chea Virak was beaten up the Vietnamese men who caught him, pushed and held him under water until he drowned and died. 39-year-old So Sopheap, another victim, was stopped by the same Vietnamese men also, he was beaten up and axed. He is now under serious condition at the Russian hospital in Phnom Penh. Doctors said that So Sopheap is still in a semi-coma state and he is not conscious yet.

Hey, Vietnam Justice System is not like your westerner's shit or ECCC crap. I say those 3 killers got 6-9 months top to live. And if anyone is in doubt, I am sure the Vietnamese will not have any objection to any visitor. Again, killer is not Cambodia, Laos, ..., or Chinese, problem individually, but Vietnamese as well.

It's not hard to confirm. There will be a trial with Viet prosecutor, Khmer and Viet witnesses, ..., defendence attorney, and the whole nine yards.
what if the people they caught werent even Vietnamese but Khmer Krom? How can we trust anything? DNA, eyewitness report, evidence of the weapon used. They need to bring a forensic expert and lawyer to investigate! This is a serious crime, where hatred will rise and conflicts on the border might even erupt.
What planet are you on, Dude? We are talking Vietnam with swift, quick, and precise verdict. If you got witness, it is good. In this case, we do have witnesses. But even without witnesses or evidences, they still have a way to find out accurately if the accused is guilty or not. They are not retarded like your westerner people.
