Cambodian worker crushed to death (in Malaysia)

KUANTAN: A Cambodian worker was crushed to death after his fingers got caught in a roller belt at a rubber factory in Bentong on Sunday.

According to state deputy CID chief (II) Dept Supt Haris Daud, the incident occurred at about 6am in a factory in Benus when Roset Math, 27, was operating the machine.

"While manning the roller belt, Roset's fingers got caught in the machine and he could not free himself.

"The right upper part of his body and his head were crushed by the machine,'' he said at his office here Monday.

Roset was rushed to the Bentong Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival, DSP Haris added.

His body was later flown back to Cambodia, he said.

Damn, there go another victim of modernization. However, this is inevitable, and it wont be our last one either.

It's sad to hear some tragedy like this happen,I'd hope they will pay some money to the victim family.God bless his soul.
