Law No. 49-733 of June 4, 1949
In reference to the opinion of the National Assembly (Parliament) of the Union of France
The National Assembly and Council of (French) Republic deliberate (approved),
The National Assembly of French Republic adopted,
The President of French Republic promulgate (publicizes) the following:
Article 1. In Article 60 of the Constitution of Republic of France and in reference to opinion of the Assembly (Parliament) of Cochinchina expressing in the April 23, 1949 convention, the statute (Bylaws) of Cochinchina (Kampuchea Krom) had modified in the following articles.
Article 2. The territories of Cochinchina is to be attached to (become part of) the state of Vietnam according to the June 5, 1948 Joint Declaration and the August 19, 1948 Declaration of the Government of France.
Cochinchina ceases to be the overseas territories of France in the statute.
Article 3. In circumstance the Constitution of Vietnam is changed, the statute of Cochinchina must be included in the agenda of Parliament as accorded in Article 75 of the Constitution (Chapter VIII: The Union of France).
This law is to be executed in the same manner as the law of the state.
Executed in Toulon, June 4, 1949.

This is a Big mistake for French Gov. handed Kampuchea Krom to Vietnam. Must hand it back to Cambodia. Khmer King and all Khmer leaders must look into this matter asap. Khmer Krom hurts more than enough. United Khmer, United all.

1:12, we did not give anything to Vietnam. Ah Khmer-Yuon fought with Vietnam in the vietnam war and lost it, not to mention they also lost since the mid's 1,700th, and the French lost it in the mid's 1950.

Here's is what superseded all French's Laws: In the mid 50's, after the French left, the Vietcong formally declared war to capture the south region. It makes no difference whether you call it "Kampuchear Krom" or "South Vietnam" or "South Champa". Fact of the matter is they successfully won the war, and you guys SURRENDERED the region to them. Therefore, there is no more "Kampuchea Krom" nor "South Vietnam" nor whatever else you want to call it. There is only one Vietnam, and the name "South Vietnam" no longer separate the country as it used to do before the war ended. Do you catch my drift?

After reading decisions French National Assembly and its government made, I extremly hurt inner heart and demande France to reopen Khmer Kampuchea Krom's territory background page. France had to look into every coner before making its decision. For that case, I claim France itself and United Nation to firmly assist and support Khmer Kampuchea Krom independent state or integrate the Kingdom of Cambodia.
