After losing its case at the appeal court on 03 October, the NRP issued, on that same day, a statement demanding that MPs who will be elected in 2008 will draft a law ordering judges, prosecutors, and all level of court officials to resign from their respective political parties, in order to guarantee the independence of the court system. The statement indicated that the NRP observes that the separation of the executive and the judicial branches does not exist as stipulated in Article 51, Section 4 of the Cambodian Constitution, and that this article was not put into application, nor was it complied. The NRP said that the non-compliance of the separation of the 3 government branches causes the loss of the review process, the transparency and the balance of power in Cambodia. The statement added that the judicial power is guaranteed by the new Article 128 of the Constitution, however, it can be observed that the justice system in Cambodia still lacks sufficient independence. That is why, the NRP demands that the 4th mandate National Assembly draft a law so that court officials are no longer affiliated with political parties.

It's too late for all you bastards to realize this. Now face your own stupidity.

Shut the fuck up, NRP, before you all get to spend sometime in our five stars PreySor. Just find a new leader since your party is already legitimate. What is the big deal? Ranarith don't have a prayer anyway.

Ranariddh was tried in absentia before by the kangaroo courts in Cambodia. He and his Funcinpec Party promised the same thing last time before the election, but when his party shared power with the CPP as a junior partner again, all were forgotten (including his murdered supporters). He even made an official declaration that there was nothing wrong with the Cambodian judicial system!

History repeats itself. People should know by now that this lazy Prince does not change his stripe. If all members of the Royal Family behave like this Sihamoni will be the last King of Cambodia, and Cambodia will be known as the Democratic Republic of Cambodia (DRC, not to be confused with the Democratic Republic of Congo) after his (and his father's) demise.

Speculation!

I know what going on with Ranarith, but I ain't gonna said it.

Anyway, he ain't gonna spend a day in jail. He'll do whatever it takes to get a pardon from the king, and he'll be back to business as usual.

Don't cry Ranarith, you and your daddy created this WEAK CONSTITUTION in the first place. All of you had been warned by the constitutional scholars that the CONSTITUTION has no independent judicial system but you and your daddy signed it into law any way. You and your daddy had a chance to give the people of Cambodia a great constitution but you refused, and now what you had created came back and bited you in the BUTT.
