PHNOM PENH, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Germany won the fourth World Cup for Men's Standing Volleyball (WOVD) as they beat Slovakia 3-2 in the final, the Jian Hua Daily reported Sunday.
It went 17-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22 and 15-12 in favor of Germany in a match held on Saturday evening at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
Earlier on Saturday, Cambodia beat Poland 3-1, winning the third place in the WOVD.
The competition attracted over 400 disabled volleyball players from six countries, including Cambodia, Canada, Germany, India, Poland and Slovakia.
