It's OK to continue using old airplanes in Cambodia because even a Boeing-type airplane can crash in other countries: Mao Ha Savanna's illogic logic?

During a debate for the approval of the draft law for governing civil aviation on 03 December, Funcinpec and Sam Rainsy Party MPs pushed the civil aviation industry not to bring in old airplanes for transportation use in Cambodia because a number of these old planes crashed during flights. Soth Sothun, a Funcinpec MP, said that very old airplanes create accidents one after another, and this creates fear among the public since a human life cannot be bought back. He added that during plane crashes, 99% of the passengers died, whereas during car accidents, the chance of survival is higher. SRP MP Sok Pheng said that the planes which crashed were too old and these accidents can affect the renown of Cambodia also. However, Mao Ha Savanna, state secretary of the national civil aviation department, replied that it was not only Cambodian planes which crashed, several other countries also have plane crashes as well, and those planes are even of the Boeing type airplanes, unlike the smaller ones which crashed in Cambodia.

AH Mao Ha Savanna got his priority all wrong!

This is not the issue about other country! This is the issue about Cambodian air traffic safety and because Cambodia attracted a lot of tourists every year and it is important that Cambodia has reliable and safe air transportation otherwise Cambodian tourism can drop like those old airplane!

I tell you the more these stupid Cambodian Vietcong slave leader work with the Vietcong system and the more fuck up they become! This is a sad reality for Cambodian people!

Cambodian people don't need enemy when the Vietcong slave officials continue to think like this!

Some of Cambodian leader's worst way of thinking are that if bad things happen to others, Cambodians can settled and accept for the same fate.

It is a carefree attitude that differentiates us from Vietnam, who believe in innovation and progress. Cambodia is a fail state at everything, it isn't even able to copy communism, what can give us confident that it can work with democracy? If these absurd stupid leaders are still ruling, our country will continue to be backward.

If there are robbers in the world anyway, why bother lock your door right Ho Savanna?

Mr. Ho Savana Just listen to yourself, ask yourself if you are smarter then a fifth grader.

Hey, let's be reasonable and logical about this. Airplane doesn't crashed because it's old or new but because it has been neglected, alright?

What is a westerner trained bozos?

To 1:32PM!

Oh really? So are you saying that once a metal is rusted and it can be stopped? Do you plan to rebuild the whole airplane which cost more than to buy a brand new one?

I hope you get your basic science straight because all machines have lifespan just like human!

Just shut the fuck up!

You're right, 3:15. Up to a certain point in the plane's life, it will cost a lot of money to keep it going, but it will not crashed if you spend the money on it effectively.

But here we are not talking about inefficient operation of an aerospace industry, but old plane crashes which is rather stupid and a waste of time.

Normally, good management will know when to get rid of the plane; otherwise, they will be history for failing to show enough profit. Government need not to get involved in making management decision. What government should do is to mandate good service maintenance record for all planes new and old, and that will minimized the number of crashes more effectively.

Ok! You ride that fucken old plane not me! My life is worth more than your fucken old plane! I as the customer have the fucken choice to choose which plane I should get on!

How do you spend the money so called more effectively in repairing an old plane? How?

-Structural damage!
-Corrosion!
-Deformity!
-crack
-Dent!

Okay yes, the customer can effect management decision. We don't need government in this area. That will not be good for the economy. Let the capitalist economy does its job.

4:35, anything can be repaired or replaced. What I mean by "effective" is to make make sure that we get what we pay for, not less. As you know, there are many people who claimed to be expert in Cambodia but they aren't worth shit. If anything government can help, is to required these people to pass an examination or something, no matter whether they are from east or west. That will certainly help to keep people safe.

To 5:15PM!

Bullshit! The government always has a role to play such as passing and enforcing the law to make the capitalist crooks responsible for their action because the customers have the right to sue their fucken arse for the death, pain, and suffering!

Capitalist economies are more regulated than you can imagine!

I used to fix heliocopters and planes in the Army. The Army doesn't use them past ten years, because you start getting these minute cracks that just can't be detected during routine maintenence. The civilians keep them twice as long, because profit figures into how long they keep their aluminum tubes up in the air. What you want is a new plane and an OLD pilot. One that can bring that thing to earth upside down if need be

5:47, don't you use fight-hours to decide whether or not to keep the plane? if so, tell us some typical numbers for different type of planes and choppers if you don't mind.
