Vice-prime minister Nhiek Bun Chhay, who is also secretary-general of the Funcinpec party, hopes that Funcinpec will preserve 26 seats at the National Assembly for the upcoming 4th mandate general election which will take place in July 2008. Nhiek Bun Chhay told RFA last week that, for his Funcinpec party, he hopes that it will preserve the same 26 seats it currently occupies. Nhiek Bun Chhay explained that he has such hope because his party is working actively to visit the grass root level, and he observed that support for the party remains the same as before. Nhiek Bun Chhay said that Funcinpec wants to preserve 26 seats at the National Assembly in order to continue working in the coalition government with the CPP.

Good for you Chhay. If it is true SRP will then garner only 13 seats. Just use Ah Chao Chak Smok's formula:
CPP = 81 (as it is recently claimed at the party congress)
NRP = 3 (as it is shown in the 2007 Communue Council elections)
FUN = 26 (as claimed by Chhay)
SRP = 13 ????....
Chhay, stop dreaming...go down and work harder to keep the incumbant parliamentarians in your pot.

He meant 2.6 seats. That is feasible since it is less than I proviously projected for 5 seats.
You got nothing event your own head, Chay! Beg Hun Xen now for not to sent you to jail!
