PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) -- A detained Khmer Rouge chief executioner will re-enact his crimes when he leads Cambodian genocide tribunal officials on a tour of former "killing fields" next week, officials said Friday.

The re-enactment is part of "a normal investigative action" in the case of Duch, said Marcel Lemonde, a co-investigating judge of Cambodia's U.N.-assisted tribunal, referring to Kaing Guek Eav, the former head of the Khmer Rouge's S-21 prison.

The tribunal, in a statement, called the tour "on-site investigations."

It said it will take place at Choeung Ek, a former Khmer Rouge mass grave site outside the capital, Phnom Penh, and at Tuol Sleng on February 26-27.
