Hun Sen issued a directive asking for a further saving in the use of electricity during the current oil price increase. In the directive for saving electricity dated 12 march, signed by Hun Sen, the latter asked all state ministries, both in the cities and the provinces, to participate in this saving on the use of electricity, for e.g., air conditioners should be turned off 30 minutes prior to leaving the offices; with the exception of holidays, street lights should be turned on only on one side of the street, or every other ones, etc… In summary, the use of electricity must be done with saving in mind. In his directive, Hun Sen also called on the Ministry of Interior, and the local authorities to cooperate with the Ministry of Mining and Energy, and EdC to eliminate the illegal theft of electricity which is happening all along the network. This saving directive came at a time when the price of oil is increasingly rapidly, and it is now affecting the livelihood of the people.

I am for saving electricity, but I don't think this will help global oil price much because Cambodia is just a dot on the planet, LOL.
LOL, not that way. Hun Sen should ask Sokemex to lower the price of gasoline. Compare to USA 1Gal=$3.25 or 1Gal=3.7L and Cambodia sell its gasoline per Liter=$1.50, this is not making sense at all. USA wage or living standard so much better that Cambodia and Cambodia sells with higher price?? Wow! HUN SEN needs to sit down with his economist recalculate this again.
You can't compare US gas price to Cambodia because the US refine its oil and we don't.
Save Pong Kdor!
What would motivate those people to save ower?
In all Ministries, Provincial departments, Province governor office, all rooms have been equipped with Air Cond, using national budget, replacing large rooms, large windows and fans installed during French time.
Do a khvak can reverse this situation?
Do high ranking officials including Hun Sen pay Electricity bill?
WTF? you don't expect our official to work without air, do ya?
It can't be very stinky in those offices. We are not Maggot Feeders like Ah Khmer-Yuon, you know?
80% of Cambodian people can't even afford to buy electricity and I don't know what the hell AH HUN SEN is talking about! Save on what?
AH HUN SEN is saying just to have something to say! He needs to shut the fuck up!
