SRP announces the commemoration ceremony for the victims of the 30 March 1997 grenade attack

PRESS RELEASE

The Sam Rainsy Party would like to inform all media, local and international HR NGOs, and public that in order to pay respects to the victims, a ceremony commemorating the 11th Anniversary of March 30, 1997 grenade attacks will be held at 7:30 am on March 30, 2008 at the Stupa erected in the national park in front of former National Assembly.

All media, local and international HR NGOs, and public are welcomed to attend this event.

For the strongest politician will never forget their colleagues who have shared lives and blood for their causes. This is the ultimate virtue of leader though sometime the political circumstance has been tremendously changed.

Those who died and wounded under the grenade attack are not foreigners, they are Khmers, they should be venerated by Khmers.
