A report indicated that Heng Pov, the former police commissioner who is current in jail, owed $120,000 to his defense lawyer. The Cambodia Daily reported that based on court documents, right now, Heng Pov owes $120,000 to his defense lawyer. Because of his huge debt, Heng Pov wrote a letter to Chiv Keng, the president of the Phnom Penh tribunal, to Ang Vong Vathana, the minister of Justice, and lastly to Om Yen Tieng, Hun Sen’s advisor, to ask for intervention so that he can pull the money from his frozen bank account which holds more than $900,000. However, none of Heng Pov’s letters received a reply. In his letters, Heng Pov said that he asks to withdraw money from his bank account to pay his lawyer fees, his living expenses, and to pay tuition for his children. Kao Sopha, Heng Pov’s lawyer, said that he did not receive any fee from Heng Pov yet.

One thing is clear about being a lawyer is that you get to name your price whether you are winning or losing!
When AH HUN SEN and the rest of his cronies is in deep trouble and I am sure the lawyer can name their price much higher to the point that AH HUN SEN will have nothing left!
This is a very sign to be a lawyer in Cambodia!
120,000 dollars..well what has his lawyer done lately that costed him sooooo much?...i think i'm gonna change my major to be a lawyer instead..just maybe! sigh!...
but, my parents said if i'm became a lawyer i'll be poor soon.
...
Well, if you don't win any case, you will be poor because no one would hire loser.
12:04pm YOU ARE TOO DUMB TO BE A LAWYER! HOW ABOUT SANITATION ENGINEER? YOU MAY NOT QUALIFY EITHER, STAY PUT WITH YOUR PARENT!
11:59 AM I think you are wrong about Hun Sen's lawyer. Hun Sen is his own lawyer. Remember! He is the law of the land. For the sake of this discussions, let say he do need an attorney. Do you really think that any defense lawyer would dare to charge him? Prearrange your funeral service first, before you decide to bring forth any charges against Hun Sen.
