The fire of discord remains lit as always between Prime minister Hun Sen and Prince Ranariddh. The new episode of their skirmish took place during Hun Sen’s visit to Kratie province on Tuesday 22 April: Hun Sen very harshly attacked his former partner. He accused Prince Ranariddh of spreading false information about his return to Cambodia.
“He said that I proposed him conditions about his return to Cambodia. It’s completely idiot. It’s his personal affair and it has nothing to do with me,” Hun Sen declared while asking King-Father Norodom Sihanouk to “teach lessons” to his son so that he no longer commits “idiocy.”
In an interview with RFA from Malaysia, during the New Year, Prince Ranariddh claimed that Hun Sen proposed him to choose one of three options to return to Cambodia. According to the prince, he would have to present his apologies to the Hun Sen, as Sam Rainsy did in 2006, or he would have to accept to return back to the Funcinpec helm. “I absolutely cannot accept these conditions,” the prince said while accusing Hun Sen of wanting to put an end to his political career. While denying that he made such propositions, Hun Sen labeled the prince as “politician without strategy” and he declared that he does not want to talk to the prince anymore from now on.
Taking the opportunity on this occasion, Hun Sen warned politicians who are members of the royal family by saying: “If you are involved in politics, you must leave aside your princely titles. Here, everybody is on equal footing.” He even went on to declare that he wanted to eliminate the deference vocabulary used for royal family members at the National Assembly, the Senate, and in the government, “in order for safekeeping equality.” “We defend the monarchy, but on the political arena, we must all be equal,” Hun Sen launched while presenting his respect to members of the royal family not involved in politics.

The cause of Ranariddh's ouster from Funcinpec was Hun Sen, using Nhiek Bunchhay and Lu Laysreng as a tool to kick Ranariddh out. Nhiek Bunchhay's law suit that prevented Ranariddh from returning was Hun Sen's ideas and tactics. Things are arranged as if everything is the issue between Ranariddh and Nhiek Bunchhay, but if Hun Sen said Ranariddh can return, the court and Nhiek Bunchhay will be very scared to oppose Hun Sen's will. The conditions for Ranariddh's return would be to apologise to Hun Sen, return to lead Funcinpec and retire from politics. Like Rainsy's case, the issue was between Rainsy and Ranaridhh. When Rainsy agreed to apologise to Hun Sen and agreed to vote in favor of the 50%+1 formula of govt. Hun Sen agreed to let Rainsy return straight away and the court conviction against Rainsy was forgotten. So, Hun Sen's words are the laws.Ranariddh should not bow to Hun Sen's conditions.
Ranarith need no compliant anybody he need to strength himself .He was on the steeling and the head of party and his seat was with out pant caused women the main thing knock him out from the ring ,IF he was strongly ,nobody can take him out in his imaged.
Nhiek Bun Chhay is now being hostaged by Hun Sen to stay fighting with Rannarith. If Nhiek Bun Chhay dare to work with Rannarith, he will be arrested immediately for drugs manufacturing in Kg Speu. This a canning strategy of Hun sen to kill these two idiots politicians to eliminate opposition. At present. it require a sacrifice from Nhiek Bun chhay or Lu lay sreng for the revival of Rannarith and I doubt these people want to go that extend for their own easy lives. The worst is now with Rannarith crying for help to have a job to provide enough monies to feed his crasy young wife. Politic is a very dirty businesses for crasy people.
Why would PM need hostage?
The King and Faher King have nothing to do with Ranaridh. Hun Sen should not have implicated them in his dispute with Ranaridh.

the prince probably wouldn't even listen to his father, the king, let alone anyone else. don't ever allow royalty in active politics; it is like water and oil. please have a law to prevent this kind of royalty active involvement in politics. i think royalty should only be allowed to mediate, make judgment, help to settle disputes at national level, ceremonial purposes, national symbolism purposes, etc, etc., however never in politics as it is like water and oil. enough said. thank you.
