Muth Chantha indicated that if this scenario would occur, it would be a serious injustice for our country which upholds democracy.

I think he just want a better chance to get elected so he could return home after the election, using parliamentary immunity. Retruning before the election is unlikely at this stage.

As I have said before for many times. Regardless Rannarith has a crime or not it doesn't matter, he cannot be a candidate at this stage as he hasn't cleared the allegation against him yet. we cannot have double standard for him as a leader of a party and other suspect criminal at all. Without clearing his name, he will not be a candidate and as Cambodian we should support a law banning all alleged criminals to get away with their crimes. We must put an end to all inpunity.
