Sam Rainsy, SRP President, is currently visiting the US. In his visit to various US states, Sam Rainsy met and discussed with party members living overseas.
The SRP party branch in Washington DC plans to organize a special meeting to provide the opportunity to US citizens of Cambodian descent who are living in the Washington DC area to meet him and ask him about the measures the SRP will take to resolve the major social illnesses currently faced by Cambodia, and how the SRP plans to protect Cambodia’s national interest. He will also address the party strategy to ensure its winning in the upcoming July 2008 general election.
This special meeting will be held on 23 April 2008, at the Harvest Moon Restaurant in Virginia.
Following his visit to the Washington DC area, he will also continue on to Canada next.

Please Khmer people. Stand for what you believe in. Nearly 30 years of ruling and no progress have been made are we going to elect the same cpp and expect a different result? Kampuchea needs change and change comes with difficulty and risk. Let see what happen when Prime Minister Rainsy is elected.
