If Sihanouk behaved like his son,king sihamony, and did not involve in politic, he may be the revered king until today much like the king of Thailand and Cambodia must be the most advanced democratic society in the region, but unfortunately he (sihanouk) loved to get involve in politic his weird way , he preferred communist over the free world not knowing that they(the communist) used him only to advance their causes ,that's why Cambodia suffered so much and Cambodia's royal families had no respect anymore from its people.Every time we thought about the monarchy, we also thought about Sihanouk's involvement with the khmer rouges and that pissed us of every time.
I accept with you 2:23 PM. I think that King Sihamonie do with good way for Khmer king. Till I don´t understand why former king Sihanouk hea had play his game with communist despite he like the west life style. Why he did so?
It's not hard to understand King Sihanouk's mind: He wanted to be known as one of champions in playing the game of politics in souteast Asia, competing with his all communists friends.

Because of Sihanouk's boastfully proudful of his little accomplishment,"A father of Khmer Independence", he was conscientiously no longer looking at what have exactly happened surrounding him, but arrognantly and selfishly wished to be a chief of state 4-ever. Ironically and unashamedly, he never made even the smallest personal sacrifice for the Khmer nation and her beloved innocent people!

What is a King without power? What good is he for the people of Cambodia?
Due to the lack of powers, the family's of king should surrender his title. Let's put an end to Monarchy!

Can His Majesty Samdech Ta and Samdech Hun Sen stop all sorts of drugs coming to Cambodia? The accident may not be related to drugs and alcohol but just some thing that I could not sleep peacefully from now on to the future, in the names sake of true Khmer citizen.
Can Samdech Hun Sen kindly ask all 5 million Vietnamese illegal immigrants to peacefully return to Vietnam, so Koh Pich will not be too crowded more and more every day, every month and every year to come.
All Vietnamese illegal immigrants can easily come in and settle inside Cambodia even though they already have their own country Vietnam.
When Cambodia is too crowded, definitely we Khmer people can not go to settle inside Vietnam, can we?
Please Vietnamese, you said you came to rescue us from Pol Pot, and you don’t want to return home, it is not right according to 23rd October 1991 Paris Peace Agreement, can all of you go back to your country now.
Vietnamese illegal immigrants, you see because 5 million of you are inside Cambodia, it makes us too crowded and we wasted our lives at Koh Pich without good reasons.
