So, what is the lost for Khmer People if Cambodia become Thailand, your majesty (Somdach Euv)? The poorest of Khmer-Thai is living a lot better than average Khmer people right now. Furthermore, there will not be any more dispute over Preah Vihear, both Khmer and Khmer-Thai will own the temple jointly as meant to be. The only benefit that we see for Cambodia independent is for the King and Queen and the riches to take advantage of poor people. Therefore, would you (Somdach Euv) explains to your children why should your children support Cambodia independent. Furthermore, why do you fear only Thai and Viet imperialism and not the French colonialism that had swallowed Cambodia for nearly 100 years.
The King is too busy to explain anything to anyone. As his life is reaching closer and closr to the death door, he must spend a lot of time singing, dancing, and making movies which his kaun-chao bear to watch (troam meul)them, because the high-class movies would not have enough funny or interesting parts for the ordary-class and low-class kaun-chao to watch. Yes I do agree some of us are just purely anti Shihanouk and some of us are just followers with no brain. But I think there are times that he is right too; so let not inflating hatred but love.
