Rice farming season in Cambodia

A farmer pumps excess water out of his rice field after heavy rain last night in Kampong Speu province, 50 km (31 miles) west of Phnom Penh May 17, 2008. The Cambodian government needs to further support farmers to grow more rice, as its price has doubled recently and the country may find it another pivotal revenue generator, national media said on May 9, 2008.
