Sam Rainsy is born to a well-to-do family close to King Norodom Sihanouk. He knew the opulence of power, and downfall when his father, a man close to the King, was brutally dismissed. His father was pushed to take his exile.
Taking refuge in Paris, the Sams lived as refugees.
Following a brilliant education, Sam Rainsy became a well-known financier, just like his wife Saumura who plays an important role in his life. Following the genocide perpetrated by Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge, little by little, Sam Rainsy dedicated himself to the political life in Cambodia.
In the past years, Sam Rainsy was Minister of Economy and Finance (where he fought against corruption), formed his political party which is becoming more successful ever since the 1999 legislative election.
Now, Sam Rainsy is the opposition leader of Cambodia. Next step for him: The July 2008 general election.

Ah Hun Sen pushed Madame Dy Pok (Hun Sen's mother) after coup of 5-6 July 1997 because she adviced Hun Sen not to make war and kill people, she became ill and died after some weeks.
In 2003, when Hun Ma Neth (Bun rany 'son) adviced Hun Sen not to kill people, Hun Sen was furious towards Bun rany and shot her but intervened by Bun Rany's bodyguard, so the Hun Sen's foot was shot by himself. And Hun Sen was transported to Calmette hospital in Phnom Penh for 2 days..
Hun Neang (Hun Sen'father) is a drunkard and a cockfighter in Kampong Cham province.
Hun Sen lost his left eye because of cockfighting when he was 19 years old.

Well I did not know that Hun Sen push his mother. It's only his problem.
Because fortune tellers have told him that if his mother died in the house, it's will bring misfortune.
He had tried to take his mother outside of the house, but he had failed. Rumors saided that He will last only 8 more years, 1997.
See Look what happen right now, He last 11 years. Now maybe more than that to what I see. I don't like Cambodia rule by illiterate people.
Well, frankly, with Sam Rainsy, this guy has never show his goals for Cambodian's people. So to trust Sam Rainsy, I am not so sure. He always say what people want to hear, DOING AGAINST HUN SEN. IS HE REALLY AGAINST HUN SEN?
I remembered once time, He has suggested Cambodia should be with WTO, world trade organization. So when Cambodia is with WTO, he has saided that Cambodia is in the wrong path. So, what is Sam Rainsy real goal in life ? AGAINST HUN SEN. I don't like people who manipulate cambodians.

Rainsy looks childish, I sorry to say that. If he's childish, he is no fit for leadershit position in Cambodia. Other parties that get inner are very weak, no education, eg Lon Rith and others.
