Cambodia not claiming any Thai land: Noppadon

Thailand has not lost a single square centimetre, as the new map drawn up by Cambodia to propose the Hindu temple of Preah Vihear as a World Heritage site claims nothing beyond its right, Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama said yesterday.

Cambodia honoured an agreement reached in Paris last month to propose only the temple and did not include the overlapping area claimed by both sides, Noppadon told a press conference yesterday.

Thousands of protesters earlier marched to the Foreign Ministry accusing the minister of losing territory to Cambodia and demanding he resign.

They believe Noppadon made a deal with Cambodia to help ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's business interests. They called on civil servants at the ministry to resist Noppadon.

Lt-General Daen Meechu-at, chief of the Supreme Command's Royal Thai Survey Department and who also attended the press conference, said a ground survey conducted from June 9-11 using a satellite based Global Positioning System indicated the new map did not claim any part of Thai territory. The nearest point, the left corner of the temple, is 3 metres away from Thai territory, while the farthest point is 30 metres away, he said.

"The questioned naga stairs is 10 metres away from the Thai boundary," he said, "I confirm there is no part of Cambodia's claim on Thai soil."

The Foreign Ministry later released the map to the public on its website.

Noppadon has signed a joint statement with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sok An on the matter, enabling Phnom Penh to submit its proposal for consideration of Unesco's World Heritage committee. The committee will make its final decision next month at a meeting in Quebec.

The International Court of Justice ruled in 1962 that Preah Vihear Temple belonged to Cambodia.

Kanchas Youn & Siam Equation:

Hun Sen = Kanchas Youn
Hornam Hong & Swa Kim Hong = Kanchas Hun Sen

However, Siam & Youn are very closed friend to each other.

==> Hun Sen, Hornam Hong & Swa Kim Hong = Kanchas Youn & Siam

Therefore, Khmer people will be suffering from this incompetent Hun Sen's Govt.

How can we solve this problem. Oh, it is very easy. Listen:
. Hun Sen must do drug daily and smoke 10 pack of cigarette, so he can die from his lung cancer
. Horn Namhong & Swa Kim Hong fuck young Vietnamese and Siam girls very hours, so they both can get hear attack. LOL.

another one of ah siem's trick, be wary cambodia. the pad protest in bangcock is a way to distract attention from real issue. for one, cambodia didn't even include the overlapping area as they claim and already they pretend to protest as a pretext to what more to come, hoping that would discourage cambodia from continuing to claim the the disputed area of 4.6 km2, just a little beyond the blue line of the map shown our temple. they think they are clever with their last ditch attempt to claim the cambodian temple itself. not! and actually, believe it or not, the so-called disputed area of 4.6 km2 was included in the court's decision of 1962 when cambodia took thailand to court on the same claim they are showing as we type now. so, thailand really in violation of the court's order, not to mention after 46 plus years had passed since the court's ruling.

i strongly believe and confident that cambodia will prevail over this whole mixed up way of the thai trying to confuse their own people without regard how the cambodia and the world community sees it differently from outside of thailand. what criminals they really are. cambodia and the entire world can see this in plain sight. shame on thailand for holding cambodia and the world hostage! god bless cambodia.

by the way, i applauded mr. noppadon for doing a great, wonderful job as a respected gov't official. i'm sure glad he doesn't think like the people's alliance for democracy thugs did and that he can see right from wrong. but the rest of the so-called people's alliance for democracy are just a bunch of criminal thugs they all are! shame on them for just having their mouth and but not using their brain. what a bunch of criminals they are, to say the least!
