In a speech broadcasted on Beehive Radio station on Tuesday, Prince Ranariddh called on voters not to cast vote for the CPP, saying that a vote for the CPP is a vote against the monarchy, and that Hun Sen is an enemy of the royal palace. “Please do not vote [CPP] again, otherwise the monarchy will be abolished and if the monarchy is abolished, we will go to hell,” The Cambodia Daily quoted the prince as saying in his radio address. CPP MP Nguon Nhel denied the prince’s statement, saying that this is merely the “prince’s trick.” The Cambodia Daily also reported that Hun Sen’s reference to the recent abolition of the Nepalese monarchy on 28 May had cause deep concern in the royal palace. However, Khieu Kanharith claimed that Hun Sen’s reference was directed to Prince Ranariddh only, and not to the monarchy.

Getting used to the idea that the monarchy still serves any worthwhile purposes is a real struggle for some.

We've grown used to the worthless monarchy that still exists today in the Kingdom of Cambodia, yet we have a bachelore sitting king doing nothing to improve his image nor his people or country, which nevertheless does absolutely nothing to decrease his chance of losing his monarchy.

well, nararith. now you realize that your once partner cpp has been all along intending to do a way with your stupid brain and your royal family.

He just barked out there abroad, but the truth of the matter is he just a useless piece of shit and already becomes a history!! Why should us or anyone else discuss about this human rubbish at all?

Preah Baatdhammika aka Sdach Kan is on the rise before a head-chopping block is built at Wat Phom.

Rannaridh needs to follow Khlaing Moeung path to draft all the 3 million dead done by his father and Hanoi K-5 plan o chase the remainder of Communist dogs from Kingdome of Bamboos.

To me, Hun Sen is the enemy within who needs to be made perished, not the enemy of the Palace.

Hun Sen is not an enemy but a naive pompous individual who can twist any royalty head any time he wanted.
He got Xihanouk by the balls now he tried to clip Rannridh off from a next in line crown prince in case
of Sihamoni changed his mind soon his psychotic father died.
The real enemy is Xihanouk and hypoctical monarchy.

Yuon is getting bigger everytime when Yuon got Chomkuot pouch luong in cage.

Cheap talk of Ranarith! Say any thing, do any thing for p..y! Have brain dude ask your brother, sister, and father first before you open your mouth!

People hate you not the King! And the King hate you too dude!

Thus, I change my mind to vote for CPP because I hate monarchy. I should support those who are the enemy of monarchy.

If everyone in Cambodia dares to face Hun Sen like what Ranariddh do, Cambodia is going to develop, somehow.

Some of the people here deserve respect. But some are far cheaper than Ranariddh. If you said Ranariddh just bark, he is better than you who never bark but wait quietly to be killed by CPP.

Rannaridh is acting so cheap. As a son of the King with a PhD of Law but his behavior does not fit to be the leader.

Rannaridh is a product of King Sihanouk and an Apasara dancer (his mother). Now he ended up with a whore Apsara dancer Mrs Ouk Phalla. Rannatidh has not even allowed to ocme into Cambodia and how can he win the election, Mrs. Phalla made a threat to ah Quvack that she will poke his one eye left already. This whore is nothing but causes more troubles to Rannaridh.

Marie Eng, if she was really wanted to help her husband whe would have had an affair relationship with Mrs. Sam Henag ah Quvack second wife just to share corruption money. Darn it these women are no good.

it's not so much about only the palace anymore, it's also about the country of cambodia and the people of cambodia as well. where is the national interest, prince? so, it's up to the people to and lawmakers to vote.

question should be, why? there must be a good reason why someone is opposing or criticizing the palace. i believe arguments go both ways, so, it's important to hear both sides of the accusation and argument. thank you.

It is 100% okay to be "enemy of the Palace", but not "enemy of the People". Doesn't the French Phd people know this?

Normally, I'm not a supporter of Hun Sen nor do I praise the Cambodian People's Party. However, over the past few years the royalists (FUNCINPEC & NRP) have portrayed themselves to be some of the most childish & cheap-thinking band of folks. They can't even work & cooperate amongst themselves but yet expect the Cambodian people to support their political cause. If they cant even work within their own political alignments, how do they expect people to believe that they can run a country?

I personally wouldn't like to see the monarchy abolished because it's a symbol of Cambodian heritage. However, I think the monarchy & its "royalists" political followers needs to give up and stay away from politics and find alternatives or else they are just digging themselves further into a hole that's already been dug.

It is in their (Royalist's) blood to fight each other and divide the country. Nothing has changed over the 500 years or so. The sad part of all is innocent people are wasted continuously over time on their account.

well, perhaps, this is a wake up call for cambodian people not to follow bad leaders like some in the palace. monarchy or not, nobody should be above the law of the country. have to respect laws!!!

Thank you very much for your rude comment. You should be more polite to be Khmer.

Anyway, I, in my consciences, always support those who opposed the current regime regardless of of who they are, Ranariddh, Rainsy, or Sokha.

You know, Ranariddh is bad but at least he is better than Hun Sen. You never know what happen in Cambodia. You never know what happen in Cambodian politics, i guess. Or you maybe Hun Sen clique because they way you speak just as rude as they he does.

KoC doesnt need that kind of person.

you know, i don't hate or dislike anyone in cambodia. people just have different views, that's all. people's action speaks louder than words.

True, but view should not be used as an immunity from any criminal activity.
