Phnom Penh Municipal Court officials refused to meet with opposition leader Sam Rainsy Wednesday, as he sought to provide what he says is evidence of Foreign Minister Hor Namhong's involvement in a Khmer Rouge prison camp.
Sam Rainsy has been summoned several times to the court since April, but he said he had gone of his own volition Wednesday.
He sought to submit to the court the alleged testimony of a former Boeung Trabek camp inmate that accuses Hor Namhong of being the chief of the prison.
Hor Namhong, who has maintained he was a prisoner at the camp, sued Sam Rainsy for defamation and disinformation for similar accusations made at a public rally in April.
Sam Rainsy said Wednesday the courts were "cheap" and "biased" to the ruling Cambodian People's Party.
Court officials were not immediately available to for comment.

if you ask me, i think a leader who choose to stay and live in cambodia is better than those you choose to live overseas and spend money they take from the people cambodia and spend them overseas, etc..., so, i think khmer people hate a leader like that, who often make trouble in cambodia by slandering and instigate name-calling etc, then would run away to france or the usa or elsewhere whild the one in cambodia is the true ones who stay and sacrifice in cambodia and spend their money to help the cambodian economy. so, really, leaders who have home or business overseas are the one khmer people need not vote for, unless those hopeful candidates can stay put in cambodia. in fact, this bring attention to a debate on whether cambodian leaders should be allow to live overseas, especially when they are in office. cambodian law should restrict leaders from residing and two homes, especially overseas. they must stay put in cambodia with the people and for the people in order for cambodian people to support and vote for themselves because if there is no law to forbid them from escaping to overseas, then they will always get away with their corruption. yes, cambodia lawmakers should debate about this issue in parliament. they need to stay put in cambodia, not always run away to overseas, then come back to corrupt more money to take back to their family overseas. i don't see the present leaders doing that; they just stay put in cambodia unless opposition and some other politicians who always go overseas after corrupted a lot of money that could have use to help poor khmer people and social services etc...

I am a Khmer living inside the country but I appreciate the overseas Khmer because they make money and send to Cambodia. This helps Cambodia's economy not like cpp sons and offcials who sold Cambodia's forests, state properties etc and take all the money to spend wastefully in overseas. This is not good for Cambodia

We should support Mr. Sam Rainsy, who is ideal to be the country leader. Mr. Sam Rainsy has a good knowledge of Economic Science, which could lead our country to a real prosperity. Moreover, he has a patriotic heart and has mercy on Khmer People. He has abandoned his comfort in France and came to struggle through many obstacles in Cambodia in order to help the people to achieve a genuine democracy, development and prosperity. In his effort to find dignity and work standard for garment factory workers, he almost lost his life in the grenade attack in 1997.
Therefore, we have to support Sam Rainsy Party and vote out the current corrpt leader for the sake of our nation and khmer next, next generations.

You CPP Khmers always talk about Sam Rainsy "this and that" and always calling him a coward because he happens to be a very educated Khmer who HAD to flee to France due to the f***ing Khmer Rouge (whom ah kwak Hun Xen is one of them). For your information, you think Hun Xen wouldn't flee Cambodia? Think again! Once Hun Xen starts feeling his life is greatly threatened and powerless, the first thing he and his thugs in the mafia (also known as the CPP) will do is flee to ah srok Yuon.
Sam Rainsy's family had to flee Cambodia in the 1970's because of ah pouht pleur such as ah kwak Hun Xen in the Khmer Rouge. Sam Rainsy, with his education, sacrificed a comfortable Western life to come back to Cambodia so that he can help rebuild the country in the early 1990's. Unlike ah kwak Hun Xen, Sam Rainsy does not have the advantage of having a military force or even a secret police to protect him. In fact, he doesn't even have the support of the judiciary in Cambodia because it is so damn corrupted and biased.
Hopefully ah kwak Hun Sen dies of lung cancer from his chain-smoking habit very soon.
