The Sam Rainsy Party, the Human Rights Party and the Norodom Ranariddh Party asked Norodom Sihamoni to intervene for the holding of new election ballot.
In a joint letter issued on Wednesday 30 July, three opposition parties asked the king to intervene in favor of those who could not vote on 27 July.
The SRP, HRP and NRP – who are thought to receive 26, 3 and 2 seats, respectively – referred to Article 8 of the Constitution in their letter, which states that “the King shall be the protector of rights and freedom for all citizens,” and also to Article 34 which protects the voting right of Khmer citizens of either sex.
“The rights of almost 1 million voters were trampled by the work procedures of the National Election Committee (NEC),” the joint letter state. “They (voters) were not able to find their name on the voting lists.”
The SRP, HRP and NRP added that, according to them, this is not a technical problem.
Funcinpec was not among the signatories of this letter.
Prince Sisowath Sirirath, Funcinpec second vice-president and government advisor, is about to be sacked for signing, on 29 July, a joint appeal by the opposition aiming to protest the election results.
Keo Puth Rasmey, Funcinpec president, should also be sacked from his position as vice-prime minister.

Where is Kem Sokha? Why didn't he sign? He is the spy of Cpp. Without Kem Sokha SRP would have gained one more seat in Phnom Penh

You're right ,I agree that some jewish is the trouble maker and somes are business gangster.I also agree that khmer is one of the most intelligence people in the world.Unfortunately why such a intelligence people make cambodia like today?
If u are abroad ,u will know the feeling that when we tell other we are khmer.Then they ask where is cambodia? angkor wat? Oh I know ,cambodia is one of the poorest country in the world.Some khmers even tell other they're not khmer.It's real that i heard.
We proud our past but we have to face the present.Now we're one of the most poorest country in the world.How to prove the world that we are one of the most intelligent people?
i said about the jewish because they have good points that we can learn from them.How they build israel, how they connect the others jewish around the world to support Israel?
You and I have the same feeling that we want to build our country to make cambodia are one of the most prosperous country in the short future.

Unfortunately, our beloved King has no desire to help nor build the nation and our miserable Khmers, because he will be repeatedly said, "Rule but no power?". I thought you've eloquently alluded the fact that the sitting king is a sitting duck has no power, and therefore, why are you asking the king for his assistance, if he's powerless?

Perhaps, you are partially misunderstanding of my whining statement, I have never acknowledgeably stated that the people of Khmer and I must directly need the King's fully supportive helpand assistance, because we are simply knew too extremely well that he can do sbsolutely nothing!
Frankly speaking, I did unpatriotically blame SamRainsy for asking the King for his useless assistance... More unashamedly, the King can not help the nation, but only selfishly destroy her more, like father like son? PS I am happily illiterate!

We don't exactly know what king father has done in the past.In school we learn to respect morarchy and the king,evern sangkum reasniyum.Frankly speaking,i don't believe what they've taught me at school,even some people told me about everything happen in cambodia.
In school we learned that Sihanouk is a hero in sangkum reasniyum,,but alots of people always said he is just vietcon puppet and one of person that bring khmer in to kampochea democracy.
Anyone known exactly what was happen in khmer recently history or can u tell me about what Sdach Da has done right and wrong in the past?

Do not think every one just like you, boy! Most Khmer oversea never afraid to say that they are not khmer! They open Cambodia association every where the live and they build temple also to show people in the neiberhood that they are Khmer not Chinkchong! and they accept the history and dare to point out that Ah Kwack Huns Xen and their communist groups that destroy Cambodia!

u got the high standard education in Usa but u speak like a gangster or the people didn't got the education.u are khmer-us,sometime when they ask u ,where u from ?u might say ,i;m from america...hahhaha,,u never know what the feeling of khmer in cambodia.We built our country from what they call the year zero.
