I've said it before, and I'll say it again: "People power" must be utilized to demonstrate the suppression of the dictatorial regime, and more importantly, the land must be protected for our children's children.

PEOPLE POWER FOR THE PEOPLE AGAINST THE ALL UNCAMBODIANS!

Cambodia is so unfortunate as a country! Cambodia was victimized by the Communism and now by Capitalism! It seems that Cambodia is either going too far to the right or going too far to the left! Is there anything in the middle for Cambodia?

Why wouldn't someone sacrifice their lives and topple this government for the future generation?

Toppling the government to better the country is the only choice.

The land problem is much more complex that just labeling it "land grabbing." Of course the big land grab was when the KR took over the goverrment and those original owners lost their land.
What about returning it to original owners?

Most of the CPP people are not event completed grade school that is including Hun Sen.
Over 20 years under CPP government Cambodia still count the poorest country in the world.

When the government (CPP) lack of education, they do anything for their own personal good without comply with the law.
Especially stealing the people votes, lands grabbing from the people, corruption everyday lives. Cambodia turn to the lawless country.

True talk. Observe closely. Before we throw a harsh criticism let's get all the minute details about the country development and the poor folks who have to move "for our country to grow". My deep sympathy is with the poor folks. But at the very same time this country must grow so that more business from around the world can be attracted to Cambodia. Thus prosperity will come to "ALL" Cambodians interms of jobs and incomes. Once again, we all feel sorry for the hardship all poor Khmers have endured. But it is imperative that the whole country must grow for the next Khmer generation. Lets look at the bigger things for "ALL" Khmers.

Well! No Cambodian people including me can deny that Cambodia does need economic development! But I still feel that even with all the development in Cambodia and Cambodian people deserve a decent home with all the convenient of life such as clean plumbing water, plumbing toilet, and affordable electricity, and have easy access to market place, school, hospitable, and job...

What is the fucken use of development when million and million of dirt poor Cambodian people are left behind in a living condition like in the war zone of Iraq and Afghanistan!

I fully understand your frustration. It is also my grieving heart to see our people struggle and still live a life in 1800's. But we must also acknowledge that building and raising a dirt poor country to a level of international standard would take many decades, many generations in some cases depends on the steady growth of the social well being and the economic strength. I had in the past harshly criticized the present Khmer government of inflicting emotional and physical suffuring upon our defenseless poor people. But gradually I begin to understand the need of our country to grow and to catch up with others within 2000 mile radius. One problem I am still critical of Cambodia is the corruption of all forms. This must be done away with once and for all.

It's interesting that Cambodians right now compare the actual regime as the khmer regime.

The only difference between the khmer rouge and the actual's regime is that the actual's regime is legal.
So it's harder to kick them out.
It's just the start of the new year Zero.
As I always say, when there's a dark period,
there's always a hope.
Right now, cambodia is occupy completely by the Sith.
Sooner or later, there's will be
a new Jedi...
Good luck to cambodian...
