Former King Norodom Sihanouk issued a communiqué from Beijing on Saturday 23 August reporting about all his current wealth.
The communiqué showed that he has a bank account at the Palatine Bank in Paris with an amount of euros 30,313.28 which is about US $45,000.
Furthermore, the former Cambodian Monarch owns a small villa in Siem Reap, which, following his death, will be bequeathed to his wife Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk. It will also be an inheritance for King Norodom Sihamoni following King-Father’s death.
As for King-Father’s birth house located near the Monument of Independence, he allowed the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to use it until 2014, and then he will donate it to the state. After 2014, his birth house will be turned into another national museum.
As for the Chang Su Won palace located in North Korea, and the Royal residence in Beijing, they do not belong to King-Father, but they are guesthouses made available for his use by these two countries.

I congratualte former King Sihanouk for disclosing his wealth now before Forbes finding it out first. If this disclosure is true, I congratualte him for coming out clean. He did not get rich on the job as King Bhumibol does, or President Suharto did...
Ah Hun Xen wealth $5 billions.

History tells us that honest, humble and patriotic men who put national interests above them care so little about their personal wealth, only dishonest leaders who care so little about their counry have insane amounts of money!
Forbes should research how much Hun Sen and family have during his 23 years in power.
If Hun Sen is truly a Khmer leader and patriotic toward the Khmer nation, he should donate all his "wealth" back to the Khmer nation.

An ex Yuvathchun Sangkum Reatr Nyum Khmer who had been visited more than 10 times to HM birth's house located near the Monument the independence .I loved the Museem of Norodom.The guide had shown us the wooden key that the Philippino government had given to him.The reason why was that? cuz they couldn't persuaded HM to join SEATO.

If Sihanouk would not foolisly and insanely involved in PoliSick, he would simply ruled as our beloved traditional King, and unselfishly and patriotically allowing the young Democratic party of 1946, Prince Youtevong, Ieu Koeus, Chhean Vam, Kuy Kanthoul, Thonn Ouk, and the rest democrates, to rule the nation, then the Cambodian nation would not be involved with the stupid civil war, 1970-1975.
