Revered Preah Karuna,
I am taking the liberty to very respectfully write to You, as well as to Her Majesty Queen-Mother, to express once again my and my wife’s filial devotion.
However, it is in front of the Father the Nation that I am requesting, in the name of some 1.3 million Khmer citizens who voted for the Sam Rainsy Party last 27 July, and begging You to intervene, in one way or another, in order to save our Homeland in danger.
Cambodia is currently facing simultaneous problems of utmost seriousness since the end of the Khmer Rouge regime. Along with the discrete but sustained nibbling of our territory for the past 30 years by our neighbors from all sides, now comes the open border conflict with Thailand – a conflict which is becoming more and more widespread and which could have terrible and countless repercussions on our hapless country.
To the external crisis, now comes a new internal crisis – which on the morrow of dubious and ever more contested than before election – could divide even more so deeply our country and bring her to the brink of a new abyss, or at the very least, could push her ever farther from the path of democracy path which Cambodia is supposed to follow according to the 1991 Paris Agreements, along with all the dangers involved.
In any case, an insolent and deceitful prosperity benefiting a small group of privileged people cannot hide the fact that ordinary people are screaming out their hunger, and that the thunder of revolution is rumbling. How could it be otherwise when the poorest farmers are being robbed of their lands in ever larger number; when there is no forest left or accessible fishing zones left for these farmers to earn some income or some supplementary food as they did in the past; when hundreds of thousands of youths find themselves without a job, income or hope, each year; when officials extort money from you in every administrative offices or at every street corners; when the salaries of civil servants, factory workers and employees are desperately stagnating, and when inflation is galloping at a dizzying speed while sapping relentlessly the purchasing power of low income citizens who cannot even make ends meet?
Our country must not founder like a sinking boat and our people must not die like a stray dog. This is the reason why, in the name of all Cambodians who still have a national conscience, I implore You to undertake a new Crusade to save the Khmer Nation, in your name as the Father of the Nation, the Father of National Independence, the Father of National Unity and Reconciliation, the Father of the Territorial Integrity of Cambodia (geographic maps established under the Sangkum Reastr Niyum must serve as the basis for the defense of our land and maritime borders), the Supreme Craftsman achieving the 1962 victory over Thailand with respect to the Preah Vihear temple, and the most eminent Signatory of the 1991 Paris Agreements.
Please accept, revered Preah Karuna, my deepest gratitude and my indestructible devotion.

The Khmer Rouge should have exterminated the Vietnamese and Chinese altogether; it's too bad that there are plenty of them still have the chance to breathe the Cambodian air, and that's completely in violation of Cambodia sovereignty and territorial integrity.
If REVOLUTION occured, the Chinese and Vietnamese should not be allowed to breathe the air in Cambodia.

Je voudrais vous demander une chose très simple, pourquoi, vous ne voulez pas écrire votre lettre en khmer à notre Roi, c'est bien notre langue officielle. Ou bien, notre Roi ne sait pas lire le khmer ou vous, M. Sam Rainsy, vous ne savez pas écrire le khmer. Personnellement, en tant que député khmer, vous devez écrire tous les courriers officiels en khmer, et non pas en lague étrangère. Nous somme bien au Royaume du Cambodge, cher Monsieur Sam.
Merci de penser un peu au peuple khmer qui ne sait que le khmer.

If no one else hear him, King father must. Unless he isn't Khmer, because this problem appearancely isn't anyone else's. Beside this letter is open to the public. Everyone knows and it looks that way. Is it true Mr. in charge of Cambodia today? You need to do a better job and your big fat behind needs to come right here and read this!
I can't agree more. And these factors actively and practically contribute to the miseries happening in Cambodia:
- First the leaders'national conscience: It is my poor estimation that coz the current leaders have undergone in Pol Pot regime and strived to bring the country to its feet that why the current leaders feel little sympathy for their people. The current leaders still in their mind believe that the country owed they something, more than miseries of the people confronting, but to pay the leaders the tribute. The leaders believe that the people owed them great and thus the they are in appropriate position to hold on tight to their power. This is one scenario explaining WHY THE PEOPLE DESERVE THE MISERIES NOWADAY.
-Second factor is ,from my ignorance, the capability as an individual and a leader. You can look at Singapore or US that the leaders in this country CANNOT just talk nonsense with slow response to the crisis. The last resort for these high responsible, well-respected when failing to deal with the crisis IS: STEPPING DOWN. TAKE JAPANESE PRIMIER RECENTLY AS AN EXAMPLE. BUT look at khmer leaders: they ever received formal education suitable to FIT THEMSELVES IN THIS DEMOCRACY DEVELOPMENT AND SEVERE GLOBAL COMPETITION. So no doubt they embrace only "so-called well-said politicians yet cannot do a damn thing" and these leaders has no SHAME deliberately put these well-said-cannot do anything-on board. This explains to the DEFICIENCY IN GOVERNMENT PUBLIC WORK SECTOR that because of these low, un-educated leaders, the people with conscience and expertise CANNOT DO THEIR WORK PROPERLY or the system DOES NOT EVEN use them "COS THESE WELL-EDUCATED PEOPLE WILL CAUSE HARMS TO THE DESIGNED CORRUPTING SYSTEM OR COS THE COUNTRY CAN PROGRESS SO FAST THAT THESE NAIVE LEADERS CANNOT CONTROL ANYMORE". This is another scenario reflects the miseries in Cambodia.
