Among these advisors, 15 will hold the rank equivalent to senior ministers, 49 equivalent to ministers, 31 equivalent to secretary of states, and 9 equivalent to under secretary of state.

I do not know for sure if those advisor get the salary from government or not. If they get it really waste of money. He can build one school every month instead of paying for all advisor.

Waste of national budget in order to secure his power prolonging his 90 years old...crazy man...salary of officers and teachers have been increased equivalently to the inflation because those budget have to waste with his crony advisers.

What can Xam Rainsy do that samdach cannot do? Xam has no experience, no money, no villas. He would learn on the job, and embezzle as much money as he gets if he were to be PM. Just look at how he flip-flp at the boycott of the NA, only to turn up after Kith Meng bribes him a great deal amount of money. Xam is nothing less than shit in the toilet for the Cambodian people, esp. Samdach, to flush.

Still better! i've heard previous khmer leaders/kings put girls around as advisors, so they ended up with seeing only two islands ... That's why our land is shrunken (?). Hun Sen is better in this respect.

How do you know if he does not? Even if he does, you think he will make it known to the public? Give him a chance. However, bad leaders usuaully end up their lives in jails. Many Khmers are power strugglers, especially those who can't find any job in Cambodia or abroad. This makes him easy to get them on boat. Who to blame? Even some opposition members have also defected. Who is the best?

49= Ministerial post= 49x2,500,000 riels=122,500,000 riels
31=Sec of state post=31x1,500,000= 46,500,000 riels
9= Under Sec of state=9x1,200,000=10,800,000
Grand Total=122,500,000+46,500,000+10,800,000=179,800,000 riel= US$43,853
This is not included the Petroleum regime that all these His excellency will get at least 100 liters/month...
Also let make it flat rate, you can calculate all the salary of more than 200 members of cabinet and 400 under secretary of states...

hey advisers are good, they are like the KR used to say, having eyes and ears like the pineapple. the distinction here is listening to the advisors, not the other way around. don't forget that listening skill is very important for any leader, meaning if they can't listen, then they are not a good leader. this is how leaders implement reforms, they listen to good, sound advices! god bless cambodia.
