SRP MP Mu Sochua will protest against the distribution of lead positions at the National Assembly commissions.
Mu Sochua announced, in an open letter dated 09 October to Heng Samrin, the NA president, that the NA commissions will not include any SRP MP.
“This National Assembly displays no democratic characteristic, in the sense that it does not recognize the opposition,” Mu Sochua said in explaining the SRP boycott.
According to her, the SRP should obtain one of the NA vice-president positions, as well as chairmanships and vice-chairmanships for the NA commissions. However, all these positions were given to the CPP during the 25 September vote.

I don't know when can my country have real peace, if people hate and curse each other like this. Everyone become animal, foreigner, prostitute... just because they have different political idea. If I am mistaken, Democracy gives the rights to people to support any parties or leader they believe in, and no one should discriminate each other. So, is some of you really support democracy?
The political tendency in Cambodia really encourage powerful people to hold their position tight, because they feel that if they lost their power, they will be dumped or killed because the one who would get their power hate them a lot. How can CPP easily give up their power, if they know that when the opposition win, they will be jailed or killed?
