Dear SRP Overseas Leaders, Members and Supporters,

Please find in attached file the invitation to take part in the Bonn Kathen Tean organized by all the SRP National Assembly Members and Senators to support Wat Kiri Meanchey (also known as Wat Boeng Chraung) in Choam commune, Memot district, Kompong Cham province on October 31st and November 1st, 2008. Choam commune chief Prak Vanny is a member of the Sam Rainsy Party, and was elected at the commune election of February 2007.

Recently, the Vietnamese authorities have prevented monks and Buddhist faithful from repairing the fence at the back of the pagoda (more details at http://ki-media.blogspot.com/2008/10/yuon-prevent-khmer-pagoda-from-building.html)

In the present circumstances when the attention of Cambodian nationalists is focussing on the Western border because of armed confrontations at Preah Viheah and other temples, quieter but as dangerous encroachements on Cambodia's territorial integrity are taking place on the Eastern side.

I appeal to all Cambodian patriots to support this Bon Kathen to Wat Kiri Meanchey where monks and Buddhist faithful resist with courage and determination to pressure from the Vietnamese authorities to defend our Motherland.

Sam Rainsy
Member of Parliament for Kompong Cham

---------------

Sam Rainsy
Député de Kompong Cham

Dear 3:45AM
If all Cambodians think like you Cambodia would be disappeared a long time ago.
I think this is the most noble thing a khmer patriot could do to protect motherland.
In Cambodia they sacrifice life for freedom. We, abroad, must help donating money since it's the only way we could sacrifice.
What would you say if the one whose land was robbed by Youn in Memot is you ?
You would beg for help right ?
Well, for your info I already donated 100$ willingly and will give more if asked again.
Thanks
P.S.I did not mean to offend you.

Sincerely ,I prefer to give 100 dollars to the humanitarian organizations to school the poor Khmer children because to invest in the children today, it is to invest for the future of Cambodia.

To support initiatives political as that of the PSR is only weakening and dividing the Khmer political unity.

That Cambodia needs especially it is the peace and the political stability and the economic development.
The PSR cannot bring all this in Cambodia.
The strategy of the political confrontation by vilolente and by the reversal of the CPP places Cambodia under the permanent threat of a civil war.

And countries foreigners will be then the big winners in this PSR's politics of the worst .
and not all the khmers .

Dear 4:29PM
The civil war will never break out because SRP has no weapon and has a politic forbiding weapon on any circonstances. When SRP win, every body such as soldiers, teachers, etc will do the every day job.
I also want to inform you that I contribute thousands of dollars for schools in Cambodia. Example, If you go to Poipet, about 5 milles before arriving you will see a brand new high school with 15 classes, 6 dortories, 1 building for carrier students equiped with computers, sewing machine, motobike machine, etc. All financed by khmers abroad.
With respect,

Last thing. You should look at developed Democratic countries like Japan, Taiwan, South Corea, Indonesia, etc, or even Thailand. Don't you want our country to go on that direction instead of saying impossible. I have nothing against CPP and I'm not SRP either what I want is one man will serve as leader a limited term to avoid dictatorship because even we have a good leader like Cheyvoraman 7 it will end up broken.

Cheers
