Sam Rainsy and Tioulong Saumura, his wife, were received in audience by Norodom Sihanouk in his Beijing residence on Tuesday 25 November, the Sam Rainsy Party indicated.
“This was a private audience by the family, we don’t know what they discussed about,” Mu Sochua, SRP deputy Secretary-general, indicated.
On 02 September, during the political crisis preceding the opening session of the National Assembly, the opposition leader wrote to King-Father to ask him “to undertake a new crusade to save the Khmer Nation,” in the name of some “1.3 million Khmer citizens who voted for the Sam Rainsy Party” during the general election.
The former monarch sent his “warm” congratulation to Sam Rainsy for his “patriotism” while avoiding to provide a direct answer on the issue.
Sam Rainsy will return back to Cambodia on Friday 28 November.

If Sam Rainsy is broadening his political agenda in an open way, this meeting is meaningful to SRP to be the government party in the near future.
Now, VN has gradually pressing their puppets: Hun Sen, Chea Sim, Heng Somrin...N.Sihanouk is aware well about this ambition of VN to dominate Cambodia.
SRP only is the future alternative for Cambodian freedom....many CPP's members are supporting SRP to get away from VN.
Sam Rainsy has hit a brick wall in relations to his political future. He now understand who the Cambodian people support, and his ambitions to depose Hun Sen constitutionally through an election is slipping further and further away as each electoral cycle progresses.
I come now to believe that Sam Rainsy is trying his best to rack up supports from all channels to boost his standing in domestic politics, in lieu of putting pressure on Hun Sen to let him join as a junior partner in the next government.
I think that is a smart move by Sam Rainsy. If he continues the strategy in the past, all members of SRP will defect to CPP sooner or later. The defection shows nothing other than the fact that SRP is no different from CPP in relation to corruption: the defection is for position, which brings power, which bring money. The same corrup folks would have been Cambodian officials if SRP were elected to form a government during the last election.
As I said: SRP can only fool the gullible. I can guarantee that SRP will remain opposition forever if they don't play smart politics where they help build the country, help attract investment, stop criticizing Khmer, stop banning foreign aids for poor Khmer, and start collaborating constructively with the government to combat poverty and help improve economic development.
I have a message for Sam Rainsy: make up your mind and stop procrastinating. I believe you are a better person with better integrity than Lao Hay, who is the kind of person that would "eat the head if cooked, eat the tail if cooked" (a Khmer proverb describing a person who would stop at nothing to achieve personal objective regardless of the consequence or others' feelings).

With all due respect, since when does Mr. Namhong possess the judicial authority that grants power to sentence anyone (or sending someone behind bars) -- Mr. Raimsy for this matter?

It was quite theatrical!
If 4:07 PM is right, all khmers in any party should not be isolated. All khmers should be engaged. CPP is veyr powerful. If we could convince their mind and the westen Khmer soften their stand toward its members, Cambodia is still able to change the history. It will be too late if Hun Sen is replaced by spy YOUN.
It never too late if khmer stand all together. Especially stand together and inform to the world of hanoi dictatorship over cambodia. It not "stone age". Khmer can stand and demand vietnam to back off.

Keep in mind that I dont favor Sam Raisny but anything to replace a Viet puppet Hun Xen I'm all for it. Even if the replacement is a Dog, I still vote for it. I just dont like to see anyone staying in power for too long.
