Khmer overseas Diasporas need to support Sam Rainsy financially and emotionally if they believe in his cause. Taking Hun Sen and his dynasty down peacefully is not a simple task. We need to support Sam Rainsy to chip this huge rock of dynasty bit by bit. Sam Rainsy needs to continue to show more of his involvement with the public and expose Hun Sen dynasty. More advocate groups, formal or informal need to be created.

I agree that all today development from Hun Sen Government with faked Phd degree will be tomorrow problems such environment problem, health problem, construction problem, drainange and sewage problem. Therefore, a least development would be better than a big development. Otherwise Cambodian will pay a highly price for these sub-degree development. Areak Prey

In hte future, Phnom Penh's floods will only get worse when Boeung Kak lake is drained and filled up due to irresponsible land development.

It's good to see the country developing with new infrustructure but they should prepare the ground for sewerage, drainage and roads first before putting up all these high rises.

The state government should appoint skill and qualified town planners and engineers.

Phnom Penh sooner or later would become the second Venice. The poor qualified City Planners led by Kep Choptema are confused from land development to water development. That is why many of northern parts of the future city became under water.

remember, too, that cambodia and areas around phnom penh and much of cambodia are lowland and floodings like these occurred every year. of course, gov't is responsible to help people and businesses that are affected by these natural phenomenon, and who is to do it best than the opposition party in order to gain some sort of political admiration, etc.. that said, however, the real solution should be gov't and people of cambodia should be calling for better drainage system for cities like phnom penh and so on. this is what cambodia is lacking, so to blame nature is not a solution to solve this kind of problem. everyday and everywhere one sees in cambodia is more of lack of proper technology and control of this kind of natural phenomenon. so, finger-pointing at certain political group is not a good way to cooperate and work to solve this kind of disaster, instead, ask for technological assistant or technological know-how like in the western world or industrialized world to help cambodia fix this kind of natural disasters. how about installing proper drainage system all over cambodia. when was the last time cambodia have any kind of large scale or proper drainage system? common, people get with the program in the world. if other parts of the world can control this type of flooding, what is holding cambodia? ask for techological assistance from the rich nations so cambodia can solve this kind of problems, too. god bless cambodia.

Some of you here wondering where all those millions of dollars in foreign aids go. Let me tell you where all those money go. Most of the money went to the:
1. Corrupption
2. Salary for those top do-nothing officials.
3. Ah Kvak Hun Sen's personal body guards used to terrorize its own citizens.
4. The do-nothing generals (military and police).

Cambodia need to get rid of these leeches whose main job are to bleed cambodia dry. Ah Kvak Hun Sen should be the first one to be put in cage.
