During a ceremony held on Tuesday 30 December by prime minister Hun Sen, Hor Namhong, the minister of Foreign Affairs, and the South Korean ambassador to Cambodia will sign a $120 million loan agreement provided by the Republic of Korea economic development cooperation funds.
This loan is targeted for supporting 4 projects: building of a waste water filtration station in the Stung Siem Reap, in Siem Reap; the renovation of several roadways including National Roads 31 and 33; the development of water resources in Stung Daun Try and Kaing Ponley, in Battambang province; and finally, for the restoration of several major bridges in Cambodia.

cambodia needs a lot of bridges as well as there are many rivers throughout cambodia. good modern infrastructure is one of the key to a sustainable development in cambodia, plus, it helps with the ease of traveling and transporting agricultural goods from the provinces to the cities and vice versa.
I strongly agreed with you. I just wanted to see if Hun Sen government using that money to build bridges and road as planned. Cambodia has bowrrowed too much money already and no bodies know when we are can live without bowrrowing and begging from out side. It is too ashamed to see our country keep asking money from them to survive but the goverment people are so richhhh!

Foreign funds such as these are not given unconditionally. There is a mandated system of bids and oversight in place which ensures that it is spent as intended.
