A source from Cambodian soldiers based on the frontline near Veal Entry area indicated that at 9:30AM on 26 March, the new trespassing Thai soldiers along with those who trespassed into Cambodian territories yesterday have no plan to pull out of the Veal Entry are, unless there is a written agreement between the army commanding officers from both sides.
The same source added that the negotiations at the regional levels could be held near the Beehive area, next to Preah Vihear temple or at the Preah Vihear city.
At 1:30PM on 25 March 2009, about 100 armed Thai aggression troops trespassed into Cambodian territories near Veal Entry, close to Preah Vihear temple, where firearms exchange took place in the past.
According to an army officer source based in Veal Entry are, Cambodian troops on the frontline are prepared just in case new fire exchange will take place with the Thai aggression troops, just like what happened on 15 October 2008.
A source from the Preah Vihear front indicated that Thai soldiers have pointed their guns towards Cambodian troops when Cambodian soldiers shouted to tell them to pull out immediately.
Bun Thean, the army commander in Phnom Troap, indicated that Cambodian troops did not take any action yet because they are still on high alert, and they are waiting for orders from the higher ups. Furthermore, among the more than 100 Thai soldiers who trespassed into Cambodia, they did not have fire exchange with Cambodian troops yet.
He added that the Thai and Cambodian regional authorities are meeting to resolve this tense situation, nevertheless, the Cambodian side demands for an absolute withdrawal of Thai troops from the Veal Entry area.
The tense situation between Cambodian and Thai troops sometimes led to armed confrontation following the listing of Preah Vihear temple as UNESCO World Heritage Site on 07 July 2008 during the 32nd UNESCO meeting in Quebec, Canada. Cambodians both inside and outside the country, as well as the government of Cambodia, have warmly welcomed this historical event. Among all of the countries in the world, Thai is not bad now, but the worst at fagging with Cambodia!
At this point in time, it's my belief it's premature to make any speculation whether the Thai is testing the water or attempting to provoke the already-unstable country (Cambodia); however, we're (again) trying to ascertain the Thai's intention.
Here's my take out this preposterous move by the Thai: initially, the Thai tried to be brave -- but arrogant, ignorant, stupid and callous -- and later (based on my knowledge and understanding of their arrogance and ignorance and greed)the Thai will retreat and withdraw from the disputed area to forestall further escalating conflict.

Thai is angry with Hun Sen who is recently announcing that the courntries around Cambodia is instability and still having war. He insulted Thai Government with instability at the 3 south provinces of Thai, where bordered with the Malaysia, and is still having conflict with muslims, he reflected to the recent report of EIU.
That is why Thai wants to make Cambodia instability by sending other troops to Veal Entry near the Prasat Preah Vihear.
Some action should be taken against this repeatation of THAI TROOP. Thailand is the worse country in making border problem with all its neighboring countries.
Give them big lesson, so that they will not repeat again and again.
We should shoot them on the border crossing.

Our need for a sound national defense is paramound in light of such naked border incursions and aggression, and I have repeatedly stressed the importance of restructuring and upgrading the military infrastructure even if this means diverting some scarce resources from non-military spheres.
A strong national defense does not have to imply buying all the modern hardware equipments and military technologies, although these are essential tools in conventional confrontation and it helps to have tanks and attack aircrafts.
Far more critical is the strategic mobilisation and reorganisation of the military rank and file including setting up adequate welfare provisions for the soldiers and their families as well as trained medical personnel attached to the military, but has the option of plying their trade in civilian sectors during peace time. In this respect, military spending and investment do work to the benefit of both military and civilian interests.
As a nation we may not be rich in material terms, but we can still draw upon the infinite wealth embedded in the compassion and moral fibre of our people. With a bit of imagination and self-reliance, the recent tragic death of a woman and her unborn child, for instance, could have been averted.
It would have been convenient to pin the blame on the local 'doctors' or officials, yet their apparent failure or refusal to provide life-saving treatment to the patient in question violates the very core of not only medical ethics, but of our own common humanity itself and, like the state of our national defense, is a measure of ineffectual national leadership and policy-making in particular.
We could learn much from the Vietnamese military history and experience; the priority they give towards national security vis a vis their powerful northern neighbour; far more powerful in relations to Vietnam than Thailand is to Cambodia.
The brief border clash in 1979 between these two nations was only the latest in a series of battles between them. The Vietnamese have learned that numerical disadvantage can be compensated by organisation and unity; that above all the enemy must be made aware of the consequence of its military aggression; that occupying a hill or a valley does not mean a comprehensive victory, in short, they must know that the cost is too high a price to pay.
However, nothing will happen in the Cambodian context unless the national leadership itself has the courage to initiate self-reform.
If not, for the sake of national sovereignty reform needs to be enforced upon them.
