March 18, 1970 -- March 18, 2009
Cambodian Action Committee for Justice & Equity (CACJE) and new generation of Khmer Republicans are very pleased to celebrate the 39th Anniversary of Khmer Republic, March 18, 1970 – March 18, 2009.
It is a celebration of one of the most significant turning point of our history when our nation found its very survival at risk. It is also a commemoration of the sacrifices of so many of our comrades, fathers, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters.
March 18, 1970 was the day we began to stop the invasion of Cambodia by the Vietnamese Armed Forces, the Vietcong and Hanoi Army in connivance with Cambodian clans of traitors who sell out our country to Vietnam and China. If there was no March 18, 1970 Cambodia would end up certainly and completely under Hanoi yoke as it is Khmer Kampuchea Krom today. Simply put, it was the creation of Khmer Republic, on March 18, 1970 that began to stop Hanoi regime from swallowing integrally Cambodia, hence, Cambodian resistance was able to fight back to these days.
CACJE and new generation of Khmer Republicans thanked so much the American administration of President Richard Nixon which had fully supported Khmer Republic to fight Cambodian puppet traitors who sell out their own country to Vietnam and China.
March 18, 1970 was the day when those men and women had ultimately and heroically sacrificed to defend the principle of Cambodia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, freedom and democracy. They died for this principle last forever.
We, young generation Khmer Republicans, can never afford to forget nor to let Cambodia forget what those men and women have done for our country. This commemorative day is a reminder of our duty to those who have gone before us, especially KANSEIGN SAR movement who have given the last full measure of devotion to their country in order to defend that principle.
For this 39th commemorative day of Khmer Republic, March 18, 1970 – March 18, 2009, CACJE and new generation of Khmer Republicans express the immense debt of gratitude we owe to you all. We salute you and thank you and solemnly vow to continue your heroic struggle to defend that principle and return the Republicanism to Cambodia in the near future.
Sincerely,
SOURN SEREYRATHA
Chief Mission of CACJE

Keep dreaming!
I am happy to witness this commemoration, however the fact today is bleak. The current government of Cambodia under the puppet-Hun Sen, we all know the Hanoi regime is running the show in Cambodia, while the Kings (Sihanouk & Sihamoni) are running back and forth to China.
In order to realize the Khmer Republic, we must get rid of these puppets on our soils. Hence learn from the Thais, they have used the British and the Americans' power to protect themselves. Using distant help they rarely take our lands, the close neighbors do!!!
Khmer Angkor.
Khmer-Angkor,
How many members believe in you?
So Khmer Kings going to China back and forth is wrong?
What is China doing now? Buy more metals (Gold includes). Do you know why the world financial collapsed? Don't preach to us another Kaun Khmers who know what is going on, you dumbest.
You want to get rid our Khmer Kings you better get rid of your dumbest self first.
Ah Sourn Ratha has a crazy idea just like ah Hun Sen. Republican my azz. US Republican is hijacked by the Communist already. Did you see the imposter usurper Obama is in the white house?
Cambodia is not USA you dumbest. Cambodia needs China and USA both, and now Communist won.
Vldamir Putin has already ordered to re-draw a new map for Georgia and some Eastern European nations are in a great depression. Would not you think Communist will return?
Russia has not withdrawn from Georgia and what do you think the US will do?
Did you see PM Taksin is still roaming around and may be return to power after this old King dies?
Too many dumbest Khmers and we certainly don't want Ah Sourn Ratha the dumbest with his little education to become Lok Thom, he may destroy even worse than ah Kvak, though Ah Sourn has somebody writes English for him.
Ah Ratha can do himself a favor just getting rid of his own ignorance by going to get a real degree from the real school better.
Ah Ratha can fool no body, but he can only fool dumbest people like himself.
:)) Man when I read his education in his profile I just want to laugh.
Reading this Khmer_Angkor's comments I can bet this person is another stupid one. Get rid of those people in Cambodia? Get rid of the Kings friends of China?
Sama Sama samputho. Another stupid Khmer who lacks of diplomacy skill is preaching to hell.
When are these dumbest can learn how to reach a real freedom?
I think the only person on here that is dumb...is the one who keeps on saying dumbest in every sentence.
If you did not know, many Kings in this world are fading. Hence, King Sihanouk. Did he or did he not abdicated HIMSELF so he can continue to rule in a so called democratic process?
There are many rights and wrong with our little Cambodia history. Let every side have their say so future generation can judge it themselves.
Oh when you say, "Cambodia is not USA you dumbest". IS NOT A PROPER SENTENCE! It should be, "Cambodia is not the UNITED STATES you dumb ass".
Hah the dumbest is lecturing us English.
Why don't you correct your own sentence huh, dumbest?
"Did he or did he not abdicated "
Bullshit. Moron 1 44pm.
Cambodia an't no USA. That's correct sentence.
Kings are fading to where?
Kingship may be but not our Khmer Kings.
Shut up your stupid noise if you can.
:))) Hence, Hence.. someone is still learning ESL.
/Hence, King Sihanouk. Did he or did he not abdicated HIMSELF so he can continue to rule in a so called democratic process?\
If you go on the internet and preach ESL, I have the right to call you the dumbest below the dumbest.
Hahahah LOL LOL.. good one dude
3 00. hahahah
"March 18, 1970 was the day we began to stop the invasion of Cambodia by the Vietnamese Armed Forces, ... "
LMAO, hahaha, ... .
What a bunch of blind monkeys?
No wonder Khmer History can't never be trusted.
You can't take this idiot Sourn Ratha as credible statement, come on. First he is insolent with a low education. Second he wants to be leader. Third he has a very low education. Fourth he can be Vietnam and Thailan's tool. If you are Vietnamese you should not be bothered by his stupidity, because he benefit the Vietnamese not Cambodia.
3:00 pm You should try googling all of your sentence and words on the internet before you try to use your grade school words here. "Did he or did he not abdicated " was the question for you if you did not get it the first time.
You got the internet to blog, try using it to enhance your Proficiency before you even blog. Make this social blog more like a grade school.
You want to get rid our Khmer Kings you better get rid of your dumbest self first.
Now that's the funniest shit I ever heard. Need to check your English skill buddy.
I don't see 3;oopm wrote anything wrong. His English is a native American speaking to me.
If you were not born in America and try to lecture American kids how to speak or to write, you need your butt kicked.
Keep picking apples! Khmer republican my ass.
Everybody can tell who are native English speakers or non-native English Speakers.
Some one is trying to show off his or her English speaking skills?
Why you correct yours below?
"Did he or did he not abdicated"
"abdicate" has no "ed".
Com' on. KI is not an ESL classroom. You must be one of an ESL who is trying to show off, eh?
These guys are Engineers and Com. Sc. and they don't need your silly ESL, duuhhhh.
Teach ah Sourn Ratha if you think your google copycat is that guuuud. Bullshit!!
Why don't you correct yours below? correction.
Ah Sourn is Khmer Republican? Does he understand what is republican and what is democrat?
Ah Ratha Sourn is a grotesque creature and so is his protector (ESL). These two have no right to speak on any issue including ESL. :))
Ratha Sourn looklikes Chea Sim. They both are fat, ugly and look so stupid.
