217 army officers from Division 3 based on the border frontlines in Preah Vihear had been promoted in a promotion ceremony held on 21st April 2009, reports everyday.com.
In a ceremony presiding over by Gen. Kun Kim (pictured), Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army, 13 army officers had been promoted to colonels, 46 had been promoted to the ranks of lieutenant-colonels, 61 promoted to majors, 87 promoted to captains, 76 promoted to first lieutenants and 54 army officers had been promoted to second lieutenants.
Gen. Kun Kim said in the ceremony that these promotions are in response to the competence and the successes achieved by these officers for their roles in the defence of the Cambodian nation.
He said Division 3 is an army unit directly attached to the Command Headquarter and is an army division that the government trusted the most.

Whoever this Khmerization is, you need to get you facts right. You can't be reporting BOGUS and FALSE information for misinformed readers. I thought KI media reports news on Cambodia, not a blog for government bashing, Sam Rainsy loving dicks.
The promotion wasn't for officers of Division 3 Khmerization, its for Military Region 3. Division 3 isn't an ARMY unit either, it is an area of operation for a designated control. also, the only 2 units directly under Command Headquarter is the Special Force Airborne 911 commanded by Maj. Gen Chap Pheakdey and Brigade 70 (E70), which is commanded by Maj. Gen Mao Sophan.
Stop using the innocent people of Cambodia for political purposes by feeding us bullshit information.
3:08 pm, As far as I know, Khmerization did not invent this information. please read the article in Khmer. The Khmer article from everyday.com did say the promoted officers are from Division 3, not Region 3 as you have suggested. if the information is wrong, then it is the fault of everyday.com, not Khmerization's.
I am a regular reader of Ki-Media. I know and you know that Ki-Media is more fair than the CPP-affiliated media such as TVK, Bayon TV and Radio and other media outlets. It is these CPP-media that fed all one-sided information and lies to the people for its own political gains.
This article is not a CPP-bashing tool, it is a news report. If you can't take it then it is too bad because we know that you have been brainwashed by the propaganda and lies fed by your idols, the CPP-affiliated media.

If KI-Media is unbias, why don't we hear news from the neutral perspective? Why don't we get information on developments and things that are relevant on a day to day basis? Instead, like the person above you stated, this site is a forum for Sam Rainsy supporters to come and be fed bias and filtered report aimed at making the government look bad. 7:47pm, when people write "reported by" it usually means they are the originator of the article. Khmerization mentioned everyday.com but a mere 3 words in the middle of the article surely can't be use as a reference now can it? unless Khmerization stole the article and claims it is his (which is in this case) and therefore this website is reporting based on lies and a few stolen "stories" that can change.

Ki Media takes news from everywhere and most are not written by Ki Media team members. I think the article posted and "reported by Khmerization" are information taken from everyday.com. If you think Khmerization had twisted the words, you can go and read the original article in Khmer provided in the link. I htink Khmerization used the word "reported by.." rather than "translated by..." because the article was written by him using the information from everyday.com, and it is not a direct translation from the article itself.
The point here is, why the CPP-lovers are so sensitive about information that is not praising the CPP? This article is about promotions in the army, why is it so controversial? Is it because you think the promotions is a waste of state money? If you think so, you are probably right!

Please try to explain to ALL PhD persons(non-schooling PhD, Non-Primary Schooling PhD)to make them sure about the terms PhD, Doctorate, Hon. Doctorates BSc, MSc...etc..
I think most of PhD men do not know what is PhD how to school for PhD.. what qualification needed to go to Doctorate????
