Cambodian Prime Minister is considering to attend the re-scheduled ASEAN summit in Thailand in June, after it was cancelled there over political instability in mid-April, said a spokesman here on Wednesday.

The premier is occupied with his own country's work, so he has to consider whether the new schedule for the summit between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its partners like China, Japan and South Korea, is feasible for himself or not, Kuy Kong, spokesman and under secretary of state at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, told reporters.

On April 10 and 11, huge amounts of opposition forces took to the streets and sealed the venues where the participating leaders should meet. The Thai government had to cancel the summit due to the situation.

The ASEAN summit has been re-scheduled in June in Phuket in Thailand.
