Phnom Penh, April 01 (MeeXua) – Cambodian Prime Minister issued an order for toilet use privilege by all government employees in all ministries in the country, Chinese-language daily newspaper the Mi Chiu said on Wednesday.
Starting on April 01, 2009, male and female government employees will be assigned days on which they will have toilet use privilege. According to a sub-decree issued by the Council of Ministers bearing the prime minister’s signature and the king’s approval, male government employees will be allowed to use toilet at their department on even days only, and female employees will have toilet use privilege on odd days only.
An anonymous source from the Council of Ministers said that the idea for toilet use privilege came from Lok Chumteav Thom Bun Rany Hun Sen, the eminent wife of the prime minister. Using this system, men and women will no longer have to cross each others along the corridors when they have to go relieve themselves at the toilet, and thus removing all unnecessary embarrassments between the two genders.
When asked about what a government employee should do, if he or she needs to use the toilet on a day he or she does not have toilet use privilege, the government spokesman said: “Why do you think we grow bushes all around these ministries? In this manner, we no longer have to water them anymore, this is a significant saving during this tough economic time… Besides, it's always nice for them to be outdoor for a short while, especially when it's hot and muggy in April."

Oh my god!
What about the law for anti-corruption?
When is this law pass?
Why anti-corruption law never pass?
KhmerPP,
It makes you proud to be a Cambodian.
sounds to me like people are probably not working and derelict their duty, and perhaps their supervisors failed to say anything or was ineffective. it goes to show how people can be so obnoxious, and that has nothing to do with gov't. it's called personal, bad habit, you know!
Under AH HUN SHIT leadership, Cambodia is such a fuck up country!
Now AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave mother fucker even micromanage the use of a toilet? This is fucken ridiculous!
Hey! If need to use the fucken toilet and I will use it unless AH HUN SHIT want me to shit in his ministry building!
With all the brain power endowed by God, AH HUN SHIT couldn't build two separate toilets for men and women!
It is embarassing that people are advocating base on a news article from 'MeeXua'!
could someone please cut out this "MeeXua" article and post it at the toilets inside the Council of Ministers? We will find out soon enough if there's any truth in this new "decree". Bu then some of those "Lauk Thom" ministers may just fall for it!!!
