The government lawyer, who represents Hun Sen in the defamation case brought up by opposition MP MU Sochua, was summoned to the Phnom Penh municipal court for questioning on 07 May.
Ky Tech, Hun Xen’s lawyer and former CBA president, confirmed that he received a summon and that he would show up on that same afternoon. On her side, Mu Sochua declared that she did not receive any summon from the judge yet. “I am ready to go to defend myself at the court regarding my lawsuit,” Mu Sochua said.
The defamation case started on 04 April. During his travel to Kampot where Mu Sochua was elected from, Hun Sen verbally attacked a woman without directly naming her, calling her a “provocateur.” “During the election campaign, she tripped on someone, then she finally accused him of unbuttoning her blouse,” Hun Sen mocked. Mu Sochua did not appreciate this statement. According to her, a man bumped into her while she was trying to get a picture of an army license plate on a car used in the CPP procession. Irked by the attack on her honor, on 23 April, Mu Sochua and her lawyer held a press conference to announce that she would sue “Mr. Hun Sen” for defamation.
According to Ky Tech, the government lawyer, since Hun Sen did not name anyone, Mu Sochua’s declarations constitute an attack on Hun Sen’s honor. Therefore, he sued the opposition MP. The case is also in the hand of the Phnom Penh municipal court.

Khmer P.P
The old crook (communist dictator) in the same crap (skin of criminal).
When you slap your cheek it turns that you are wrong. Why? Because you accused him of slapping your cheek, but if you say thank you and give him $$ you can live longer...but finally you still be bullied again.
Those who are supporting Hun Sen is living under this situation. Today, you are happy and free because you are crawling under Hun Sen's feet, and bribing Hun Sen...however, one day you are still be his servant and he can bully you anytime.
When Mu Sochua is trying to protect herself from defaming, her lawsuit is becoming a tool for the powerful to bully her...what a terrible injustice in Cambodia?
No one can touch Hun Sen or what?
DECHO !
Be a man. You're insulting a woman.Just because you did not mention her name, but the world knew that you are referring to her.Of course Mrs MU was not invited to the meeting and she showed up anyway ,but why you have to hurt her feeling by trashing her as thick skin(mouk krass).Mrs MU was physically abused by your general and why did you see the other way around and accusing her of embracing him and unbuttoned her blouse herself ?,that is so ridiculous. And when she sued you on defamation ,you and your pals are going to strip her immunity,c'mon DECHO,have some feeling of guilt or shame in your blood will ya ?.Just because you're PM,it doesn't mean you can oppress anybody you want alright ?.
I think Samdech Decho Hun Sen should deport this woman back to America. She's too ugly to live in Cambodia.

It was better interest for MP Mu
Sochua to lose the case, for less bodyguard to protect her, while she want to do politic in Cambodia.

It is very sad to hear Cambodia bad political environment by having a Prime Minister to bully other politician who has no private bodyguard.
In correct procedure, the court should play as a neutral role between all citizen regardless their position in the government. Mrs Mu Sochua has sued Hun Sen and didn't sue the Government. Therefore the court should clearly indentify to the lawyer of the defense who is going to be the defense. It is Hun Sen who is the defense and not the government. The court should send a copy of the complain from Mrs Sochua to Hun Sen directly and then it is up to Hun Sen to find a lawyer to represent him. Whoever is his lawyer should write back to the court a signed affidavit by Hun Sen. Sometime it take a few correspondents of affidavits until each party has produced all their evidences to the court. At the hearing, the plentif and the defender are not necessary to present at the court. The Court should assess all their affidavits and allow each lawyer to make their comments to protect their client interest. I felt that Mrs Mu Sochua is right. She has sue only for 500 riels. If Mr Hun Sen has good advisor, his advisor should advice him to withdraw his speech and to openly apology to Mrs Mu Sochua to avoid public condemnation. From my point of view of this case, there is no way, Mr Hun Sen will win this case at all. If by extra-ordinary judgement, and hun Sen is going to win, he cannot sue Mu Sochua very much because Mrs Mu Sochua did't have damaged Hun Sen at all. he is still a Prime Minister, and he is still earn his full salary. Therefore the most damage is his cost of the court and his legal fee. There is no way, Hun sen can remove Mrs Mu Sochua immiunity legally. There is legal ground to remove her immunity at all. She was elected as a member of the parliament through National General election. Only future National general election can determine her future immunity. Areak Prey
It looks quite frightened. I just think that it is not the right time for her to bring up this sensitive issue, She should wait until after the election.
At this point of time, Hun Sen would perceive as lossing his face if he is sued by Ms Mu, This is politically sensitive to have this kind of lawsuit occurs.
It can be assumed that, this lawsuit would only bring the negative impact to the SRP party.
Not more than three years, Ms Mu Sok Hou would have left the SRP either by being forced or disappointed.
To Areak Prey,
She would lose her immunity anyway. CPP would make every process look legal. So there would be sufficient legal ground to remove her MP ship.
However, the court would be definitly under the influence of CPP.
As we all know Madam Mu's mentality, though her immunity was lift she will not leave Cambodia...so will the Hun Sen's authority catch her to imprison? Madam will accept imprison in this injustice court and government to inspire the world again. Especially, she is a woman, Hun Sen will imprison a woman because of his defamatory speech to her?
We know, Madam Mu was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize in protecting woman's dignity. This time, if Hun Sen is still desiring to use that injustice procedure to arrest and punish Madam Mu, the day of Hun Sen will come to an end. Madam Mu will be a Nobel Peace Prize Candidate for her political consciousness.
On the other hand, Hun Sen is again manipulated by Vietnamese adviser to proceed this legal suit in order to eliminate Hun Sen eventually, or at least to make division among Cambodian politicians.
But I do hope the puppet municipal court and Cambodian government cannot let personal case of Hun Sen to drag them down to hell.
Do remember khmer saying that when water rise, fishes eat ants, but when water goes down, ants will eat fish. Example, in Taiwai, Indonesia etc.
