Sorry Chris, political tact was not part of Hanoi's PhD curriculum

PM could do with lesson in political tact

Dear Editor,

Perhaps the prime minister does not understand the value of political tact. Lashing out at political opponents at events such as high school graduations and new development ground-breakings is not only inappropriate to the event but comes across as immature and petty.

Does the leader of this nation not truly understand the influence he holds over the Cambodian population?

Positive, intelligent speech would go far to help the general public.

If a political issue is so important, why not call a press conference and face the issue and the press directly and respectfully?

My Superior - a Westerner - once told his staff: "Engage your brain before you engage your mouth".

That's exactly what PM Hun Sen need to learn.

Maybe, I was wrong when I stated that there is NO officials work for the benefit for the Country and the Citizens.

"The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their Constitutions of Government. But the Constitiution which at any time exists, 'till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole People is sacredly obligatory upon all." --GW, 1796.

Has Khmer Citizens the government of the Cambodia practice due process and fairness and of rights of man?

Thank you, Mrs. Mu.

Mr. Reid, I am surely glad to see Caucasian be critical of Hun Sen. I wish there are more of you. Will Hun Sen understand our complaint if each one of us doing it?

Hasn't anyone noticed that Hun Sen stuck in Kindergarten for the past 34 years, and will remained in Kindergarten class 'till he kicked the bucket?

A blind man never see the light, he would never knows what the light is. A man never tried sugar, he would never know the real taste of Sugar. A man never sits in the classroom, he never knows what important school is.

All these cases, are like Hun Sen. He's never been in school, how comes he could value PhD holders or teachers.

Hi Chris,

You are right! I am always laughing when I am listening his speech very unproductively in those events.

From his personal uneducated attitude and arrogant behavior, that why Vietnam installed him power and allow him to rule forever!

This is Cambodian political and leaders. The page of history of installing to power has always repeated again and again, is for those who desire for power without having proper attitude for the public will be always in power.

3:49 am, that's exactly what the viets want. The viets want someone with an airhead like hun sen to run cambodia because it's really easy for them to steer him.
