Thai solders keep watch on the borders at Phnom Trop.

The commencement of the construction of a new road opposite Phnom Trop near Preah Vihear temple by the Thai military has caused heightened border tensions between the opposing forces, report Kampuchea Thmey.
Cambodian military sources from Preah Vihear reported that on 30th May, the Thai military had transported heavy construction equipments, including heavy buldozers to the area and commenced buldozing the area to construct a road leading up to Phnom Trop, considered to be Cambodian territory by the Cambodian side. The sources said that, at this stage, the Thai side had only begun to buldoze on their territory and they had not buldozed the area located inside the Khmer territory yet.
By using heavy construction equipments, the Cambodian side assumed that the Thai side intended to build a large, paved road or even a highway to the area. The road that they envisaged would be the same as the road that has been built in front of Preah Vihear temple by the Thai side.
The Cambodian military said that the Thai actions have renewed heightened tensions in the area. On top of this new developments, the 30 Thai troops sent to occupy the Cambodian territory of Chak Chreng on 24th May 2009 have not been withdrawn yet. Because the Thai military refused to withdraw their troops from the territory, Cambodia had sent the troops there also. Now there are reports that the numbers of Thai troops in Chak Chreng has been increased to 300 soldiers.
Sources from the Cambodian military based in the area said that the Thais told them that they intended to build a road leading up to Phnom Trop mountain, but they are not sure if they can do that. The same sources said that they told them that the reason they are constructing a road leading up to Phnom Trop mountain because it is still a disputed zone.
Gen. Yim Pim, commander of the Cambodian military based in the area, said that these two new developments have further heightened the military tensions along the Khmer-Thai borders.

Its good the media is covering the thai border tension, but how about the viet/cambodia border.
since cpp regime is not bringing this kind of issue to the international community seriously. Khmer people around the world need to unites collectively regarding khmer soverienty and border issue with vietnam and thailand.
Thai try to destroy evident of the border and the border marker while the Hun Xen dealing peacefully. Soon or later Kkhmer gonna loose more than just the border if they don't act now.
Khmer soldiers must stop the Thai from building the road. Khmers need to tell the Thai that the area is a disputed zone, the same as the Thai when they don't want us to build a road they always say that the area is still disputed. The areas have not been demarcated yet, so the Thai can't build anything there.
Ah Chor Siamese never give up its bad ambition, so Cambodian have to unite and against it until we get success. it invaded my country and took my Cambodian land a lot before.
An other thing, USA should be responsible as well because he ordered Cambodia to destroy all rockets and weapon against air plane in order to prevent terrorism. Therefore, if Thai use air planes, USA should be responsible as well.

Ah Hun Sen is a real chicken. A the PM, he should order our troops to fight against those Thai troops asap.
The reasons are:
- If the fighting start, Hun Sen is afraid of upraising of khmer people against him inside Cambodia. Therefore, believe me, Ah Hun Sen wont order our troop to push Thai away from our territory.
- Ah Hun Sen is an intimate friend with Ah Thaksin. Ah Hun Sen stay calm and he is going to let Ah Thaksin to fight against Thai government from Koh Kong. So, Ah Hun Sen will benefit in 2 fronts; get the bribes from Ah Thaksin and pretend that he is a peacelover (demagogue to our khmers). Indeed, he afraid of upraising of people power from inside.
- Remember Ah Hun Sen is the VN'dog. He is waiting to get the order from his master, the VN.
Therefore, we want the International Court to bring him and his gangs to the trial asap. We pray that Mr Petit is going to keep asking the Court to bring Hun Sen until the "fait accompli". We pray the ICC to agree with Mr Petit request asap.

How about Vietnam is controlling the whole of Cambodia with over 5 millions Viets illigals immigrants but received Khmer citizenship very easily by ah Hun Sewn government. And the eastern borders are moving westward everyday. It seems no Khmers did, do care about this, but they blamed only on Thailand. But how far Thai did swallow khmer territories in comparison with the THIEVES of Vietnam ????
the thai are too hasty to contruct roads etc while the area is still needed to be properly demarcated. no wonder cambodia don't get along with them; they want to steal from cambodia as always.
And why khmer king and ah Hun Sen government did violate the 1991 Paris Peace Agreement by signing to provide more khmer territories to Vietnam ???
As a signatoried country on that International Agreement, Thailand won't obey that any more.
Ah Khmer king and Hun Senshould do the same thing by giving khmer lands in order to stay in monkey throne and power.

As anonymous and did not have any responsible was easier to say and use that kind of language.
Remembered, we have more than 5 Millon Vietnameses live and have Khmer Nationality. They are civilize and their behavior or speak Khmer better than some of Khmer brother.
I feel, that our real Khmer on this internet did not speak Khmer but Vietnamese.
