Chou Kry claimed that he does not have the mean to fulfill the requirements set by the young lady’s parents.
Therefore, the parents of the young woman decided to lock up their daughter in her room in order to keep her [from seeing Chou Kry]. On 02 May, she decided to flee with her Cambodian lover, and they crossed the border in Koh Kong on a merchant ship. Following a complaint brought up by her parents, the couple was arrested 20 days later in Poipet while Chou Kry was looking for a way to send his girlfriend back to Thailand.
When the young woman’s father went to fetch her, she refused to leave her lover behind and she announced that she is 2-month pregnant. Meanwhile Chou Kry promised that he will return to Bangkok soon to organize an official wedding.
During a phone call, Chou Kry received the official assurance from his girlfriend’s mother that she would withdraw her complain and that she would accept to give him her daughter’s hand. The mother also promised to give some money so that the couple could start a business on their own.
While his girlfriend returned home, Chou Kry is free again. He hopes that his future mother-in-law will uphold her promises to him.

Please khmers do not blame your own peopleespecially the leaders. you are in the USA but do not think that US is a land of your good luck because you are always pessimistic about Cambodia. We are living enough in our own way. We do not need any fancy thing like you do.
We are okeyed with this situation. After the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime, we must thank the Vietnamese invaders who save us from hell and why we are here and you are there. Without these invaders my skull and yours are scattering or disappearing in the jungle of Pursat or Battambang or the boys are using my skull as a ball to play at their will.
