An opposition lawyer said Thursday the Cambodian Bar Association should remove one its members from investigating him.
The lawyer, Kong Sam Onn, is involved in a defamation suit against Prime Minister Hun Sen and is under investigation by the bar association for misconduct.
Kong Sam Onn, who is representing opposition lawmaker Mu Sochua in her defamation case against Hun Sen, says the man inspecting him, Hem Voun, works for the prime minister’s attorney.
Hun Sen’s attorney, Ky Tech, is the former head of the bar association. He is representing the prime minster in the defamation case and a countersuit, including a complaint against Kong Sam Onn for a violation of the professional code of conduct.
Hem Voun’s appointment to investigate constitutes a conflict of interest, Kong Sam Onn said Thursday.
The Cambodian Bar Association “cannot ensure a neutral stance in its investigation because Hem Voun and Ky Tech are lawyers in the same office of the same lawyer’s club,” he said.
The Cambodian Bar Association appointed Hem Voun and other four lawyers to investigate Kong Sam Onn’s case, following the complaint of Ky Tech.
The bar’s president, Chiv Song Hak, called Kong Sam Onn’s request “really reasonable.”
The Asian Human Rights Commission in May called for the Cambodian Bar Association to adhere a neutral stance in resolving the complaint against Kong Sam Onn.

The court system under the Hun Sen's Government is really weird. Government officals can get away with any crime or misdemeaner they commit by launching a countersuit against anybody who dares to talk about (defame) their wrongdoing.
You have to know who is control the Cambodia country? You have to know Mr Hun Sen anywhere anyplace a round the world they known Mr Hun Sen.So all the parties want him get away from his position they have to win the vote,If someone try to kick him out by talking or by helping from foreigner people no way can't kick him out.If opposition want to win the vote have to do lot for people.Don't just say.If any opposition keep talking and don't do nothing the opposition will done in the future.
Nothing in this world is guarateed to be permanently safe. No one could imagine that Pol Pot would one day be toppled, but it was. Anywhere is the world they know that your Hun Sen is a very notorious dictator who will one day be like Pol Pot. And the demise of Hun Sen will come from inside his own circle. All political parties want Hun Sen to be decent, as he has many Ph.D degrees, so he won't be looking so cheap in the public eyes. Of course, all political parties want Hun Sen to step down from his position by means of a free and fair election.
From the start Hun Sen was installed in power by Yuons, not by a free and fair election. If Hun Sen is decently educated person, he should behave accordingly, but since he is just a babaric rustic, no education can help a fool like him. His time will come when his evil acts ripens.

I am not politician, but I have one old saying to remind you "Chhnang na Krop Nung", which means that the pot and its cover should be fitted. Ask a question why people votes 90 seats for CPP? CCP and 90 seat-voter are the same in terms of...(what you can fill out what it should be).
How about Viets cast Khmer balolots ???and they casted for CPP.
Over 5 millioms of Viet inside Cambodia and got khmer citizenship facilitating by CPP officials.
How the opposition parties can have a chance to win by ythis way, not including the cheating, the vote buying practice by CPP.
You're losing your credibility when you're ancessantly accusing other political party with frivolous allegations.

So everyone don't think only Cambodian people don't have a job to do lots of people around the world don't have job to do.
I quest American control all economics in the world and all of them Republican party and they lost the voted with democratic so all of the businesses man they don't want open their businesses and they want to fight with bankruptcy everywhere everyplace so all the poor people don't have a job to do.All democratic in USA they are racing,jealous for each other.So what the poor country want to do?
