Border dispute with neighboring countries proves so well the incompetency of the Vietnamese puppet Royal Government of Cambodia.
Border dispute with neighboring countries proves so well the incompetency of the Vietnamese puppet Royal Government of Cambodia.
Up to today, July 15, 2009, that is exactly one full year, the Royal Government of Thailand by sending its army invading and occupying Cambodian Preah Vihear Temple territory had violated indeed Cambodia sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Government of Cambodia under the Vietnamese puppet leadership was unable to solve peacefully the dispute between Cambodia and Thailand about the violation of Preah Vihear territory by Thai army and didn’t want to bring this affaire to the United Nations Security Council.
The delaying without valuable reason for one full year to pursuit by legal means the flagrant violation of Thai Army over Phreah Vihear before the international Institutions proves so well the incompetency of Phnom Penh government and reinforces the believe that Phnom Penh government is not independent and didn’t want to serve Cambodian interests.
By implementing fully the unlawful agreements between Cambodia and Vietnam of 1979, 1980, 1982, 1985 and the supplementary border agreement to the 1985 treaty of 2005, the Vietnamese puppet Royal Government of Cambodia was flooding Cambodia with the Vietnamese army. The Vietnamese army invaded Cambodia as well in uniform as in civil. Vietnamese military caserns were spread all over Cambodia. And some Vietnamese battalions were covert under bodyguards of Hun Sen. This constituted not only a violation of Paris Peace Agreement of 23 October, 1991 but also a flagrant violation of Cambodia sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The delay to pursuit the violation of Preah Vihear territory by Thai Army by legal means before the international Institutions and bring this affair to the United Nations Security Council in order to request the UNSC to implement fully the Paris Peace Agreement of 23 October 1991 - that delay – was in fact the volition of Vietnam to endure this endemic dispute because this will create the necessary and factice need for more Vietnamese troops to help Cambodia to counterbalance the Thai Army forces. Finally, these Vietnamese forces will jeopardize Cambodia security and will destroy Cambodia nationalism and independence.
CACJE asks you all Buddhist monks and Cambodian nationalist compatriots one more time to rise up and with courage to take the destiny of Cambodia by our own hand. Together, we gathered one million thumbprints. Together we utilize our rights as citizen, owner of Cambodia to bring the Thai violation of Preah Vihear territory by Thai Army to the UNSC in order to ask the UN to implement fully the Peace Agreement of 23 October, 1991 to fix Cambodia border dispute.

like i said before, everybody can help to make a difference for cambodia and all khmer people. it is silly to just wait for gov't to take action. every khmer citizens can all help to reform the gov't, the system, etc. by demanding gov't accoutability and competency in gov't. everybody can help in this. it is ignorant to wait too long. please be proactive in making changes for the better of country and our people way of life and living and so on.
