Original report from Phnom Penh

Prime Minister Hun Sen left for France on Thursday, to participate in a five-day official visit at the invitation of French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
This is the first visit of the prime minister to France under his third mandate, following elections in July 2008, and is meant “to strengthen bilateral cooperation,” according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Koy Kuong.
Hun Sen will also meet his French counterpart, Francois Fillon, and Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, Koy Kuong said.
Hun Sen said in public remarks ahead of his departure he would meet with Sarkozy on July 13 and participate in France’s National Day, or Bastille Day, July 14.
He will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Hor Namhong.
France is one of the most important donors to Cambodia, contributing around $25 million annually in aid.
Laurant Le Marchand, first secretary of French Embassy, said France assists especially in judicial reform, the rule of law, gendarmerie training and continued support for the Khmer Rouge tribunal.

Beautiful!
If I don't know well. Mr. Hun Sen has never or hardly been invited to other europion country, including USA and Africa, eventhough he is a main leader ruling a democratic country for 15 years. Why his relationship and collaboration with other democratic countries are so good like this!!!!! Please don't be so good with only Vietnam, Buma and China.

OH, Please ask for help from french to get rid of AHPESYAJAJIVA, a very crazy and bad SIAM prime minister. Thai and Cambodian people don't want to see his smiling face any longer. He only can act as a movie star and sing English songs very nice. But in his heart, he wants to kill Khmer and his SIAM people to live alone in this world, he even would like to kill Malaysia and China. Then, My Khmer prime minister, please get Frence to intervene this conflict. Cambodia will lose something if it still wants to try this problem with powerful SIAM.

Roun,
Who in their right mind want's to make friend with this moron. Would you be caught associated with this Kowtow?Surely, this would labeled anyone as "guilty by association" just for being around him. I don't want to look down on the man, but he's a little coo-coo. He is nothing to the rest of the world. Only a tiger in his own lair.
4:40pm You should know that we khmer have never lost a war to any of our neighboring countrie, whether it be siam or viet. The French have their own problems so it would be meaningless to appeal to them for help. History tells us that khmers have defeated viet army who invaded cambodia after the fall of the khmer rouge regime. So it would not be difficult to take out siam army. Most siams are cowards, they are not willing to die for their country.
