sometime I feel angry with my fellow citizen who do not know what is right and what is wrong. however everyone have their own idea/believe. in the case of PM Hun Sen vs MP Mu Sochua, we can see clearly that the prime minister has no dignity at all. he just does whatever help him win. he doesnt care about the rule of law.

Is it SRP's candle vigil today saved disgrace Mu Sochua until 04 August 2009??? As I know, although, the Court will give the verdict on 04 August 2009 but Sam Rainsy party is prepared to pay the fine if the court orders her to do so. However, SRP doesn't mention what they will do if the Court delivers the verdict fine and also sends her to prison for 18 months??? Serving 18 months in jail is not longs for a strong woman like Mu Sochua. At least it can cool her temper off and cure her anger management problem.

I am not her supporter in term of political view, but I still want to see justice for everyone, and I still want an independent and impartial court system in Cambodia. However, you are in Australia, so you can insult people who are victims of court system in Cambodia. And if you are closed to the PM you can benefit from this court system, as many people around him do.

It's so obvious that people want see justice for everyone and want to see an independent and impartial Court system for every country in this world. However, in Cambodia is different. For example, the defamation case of PM Hun Sen against disgrace Mu Sochua, if on 04 August 2009, Phnom Penh's court gives the verdict that Mu Sochua is not guilty, you and SRP as well as other SRP supporters will applause that the Court is an independent and impartial, by contract, if the same Court delivers the verdict that disgrace Mu Sochua is guilty, you and SRP as the whole will point your fingers at Phnom Penh's Court that this Court is the government's tool or whatever you guys like to accuse it. So, what is the real justice and what is impartial you want to see??

It is not about people whom we like or dislike, but we have seen the development of this case since the beginning. Whatever the verdict is, it already showed unfair trial, because it has proceeded in favor of one side only. If you do not understand khmer, you might not understand what the PM insulted her in his speech in Kampot last april.
I am very unhappy to see the repeat injustice trial in our court system and the whole system of justice in cambodia works for powerful people only. In provinces, the court rule in favor of rich people from PP and put local people in jail.

At first, I did not support Mme Mu Sochua to sue PM Hun Sen of defamation even it was clear that the PM had insulted her in his speech. But the following event involving this case that makes me feel pity toward her. You can ask yourself what was wrong with her former lawyer to defend her, why her case was dropped by the court and proceeds only the PM`s. I dont know, maybe it is a fair trial according to your standard.
Sue Hun Sen in Cambodia, look like someone tries to run and hit with a brick work. Hun Sen is Cambodia's strong man but only with the power in Cambodia, but power on the bed, Mu Sochua can beat him within the first round. Look at her husband is a white man and she also has three kids. So, Hun Sen should know how strong she is??

I am fully aware on what PM Hun Sen said in Kompot province last April. Despite his remark seems to refer to disgrace Mu Sochua but he didn't mention her name at all. In Australia as well as in other democratic countries, you can say whatever you want, if you don't defame or insulted anyone by name. After heard PM Hun Sen said, the disgrace Mu Sochua has sent the letter to ask him to clarify his remark but Hun Sen is smart by not clarification back to her. At that time, if disgrace Mu Sochua is smart and mature enough in politics, she can use Hun Sen's unclarification to mocking back to him. Unfortunately, she chose that chance to sue Hun Sen, aimed to promote her political stunt. Her miscalculation got back fire now.

Did you know that this lawsuit is just to save Hun Sen's face ? Not many people in CPP agree with what Hun Sen did to Mu Sochua in Kompot but they have to be on his side because he is their leader and they don't want their lerder to lose face . In thier mind they knew that Hun Sen had created a big mess for himself .
